Patrick Arnold talks to actor Mitch Bartlett, aka Miss Man, about his role in the new Underbelly.

It's difficult to know where to start with someone like Mitch Bartlett. He's not only done it all, but is also going places.

Bartlett boasts over 20 years of entertaining experience, from appearances on Don Lane's and Bert Newton's shows to acting on national soaps Neighbours and Blue Heelers – plus dancing in several of Kylie's earlier videos. In fact, he first thought dancing was his main gift but then also found a talent for singing.

"I worked with a corporate band and realised I could hold a tune, so I became the male lead vocalist and from there moved on to other stuff," he says. He fell into improvising at gay venues, filling in for no-show drags, and it was then that the seeds for 'Miss Man' were sown.
