What's up with all of this legislation?

I understand a lot of legislation has been enacted as of late citing a vague wage gap, but I am unsure where to find it. I just can't find any jobs where women are paid one wage and men another for identical work.
Now, I understand their net incomes are different, but then that is because of fewer hours worked, different majors, and numerous other factors unrelated to a vague patriarchal organizations bent on some emotional, irrational war on womankind.
I'm so confused.  ???

Is this due to hours worked?
Overtime pay would have a lot to do with that.
Willingness to relocate?
Oftentimes men are more willing to sacrifice quality of life for money.
Workplace conditions?
See above.
Warren Farrell, former chairman of NOW, claims that with all of these things considered, women actually make more than men because of anti-discriminatory legislation.

It's due to women having lower pay expectations than men, due to being consistently underpaid throughout the last century.

Then why not staff a company with all women? With that pay gap, I'd run my competitors into the ground!

Your profits would be insanely high since you could underpay your entire staff.

So why wouldn't a soulless, profit-driven organization hire all women then? I mean, the patriarchy can have their little clubhouse or treehouse or wherever they headquarter their war against the female sex, all I want is money!
I'll bet their dues are outrageous, too.

Because once discovered, who the hell would want to work for you?

Women! I'm not a member of the patriarchy, so I couldn't care less about harassment or workplace negativity. No, the oppressive men would be out of the picture, so I'd pay people what they'd take and rack in the profits.

Don't we call this capitalism?  And in the last few years there have been bidding wars taking some jobs as much as 25%30% lower wages that were paid to person holding it before.

Tragically though, it often takes good people, and you do have to pay them.

They do; hence my mentioning of third world sweat shops, filled with desperate Korean women working for 10 cents a day.

You have the freedom to start your own company and the responsibility to do so if you can do better.

Just think if their mother's never had sex they would not be in that position.

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

It takes more brains and drive (not to mention interpersonal skills) to start and run a successful company than is demonstrated here.
