Can't really say that I've ever envied anyone's potential, though I'll be more than happy to cop to a lot of admiration for people's accomplishments.
But, in the end, I don't think that was as much about their intelligence estimates as it turned out to be about their work ethic, attention to detail, persistence, ability to stay on task, and diligence. I don't think my degrees are as much about being smart as they are about my work ethic, attention to detail, persistence, ability to stay on task, and diligence.
