i'm sooo excited :D

i got 22 sessions on my face
and 12 on my hands.

...for $2400.

If anyone has any advice, comments on the pricing, or on your results.

I would really appreciate it cause i'm super anxious to get this going!

Not sure what kind of laser you're getting but... 22 sessions on the face seems more than double the norm expected. And the hair on my hands was resolved by HRT alone, but I realize there is variation there.

That being said... the pricing seems fine. If they truly will cover that many sessions for that price, you ought to be covered at a very reasonable rate. I paid about 1200 for six sessions on my face. I'm personally finished with laser there, and have moved to electrolysis. But your price per session for 22 sessions is running a lot lower, assuming you need that many sessions.

As for results, I'm totally happy I did laser. It cleared the dark shadow from my face WAY faster than electrolysis could possibly accomplish. And it covered the whole face, not just one tiny area at a time. It has helped my passability and self-confidence dramatically. As long as you're a good candidate for laser (i.e. pale skin and dark hair) I couldn't imagine NOT choosing it.

This wasn't from American Laser was it? I have heard a lot of bad things from friends of mine about that place.

I get my laser done at the Mazonni Center in Philadelphia and was told I only need 5 laser treatments to get rid of most of my light and dark hairs (not grays). I plan to follow up with electrolysis after that. My cost is $250 a session.

well really, i only purchased 6 treatments. but they offer an extra year and a half of treatments if you aren't satisfied. that's 18 extra treatments plus the original 6 .. it seems like after the maximum number of treatments, i should be VERY satisfied.

and yes, it is with american laser centers. i too have heard some bad things with them but then again i have some friends who've had great results with them. i think it depends on the area. at the one i'm going to, only RN'S are opereating the machines and they have some of the latest lasers. and given the extra treatments, it seems promising.

Good luck! I hope it goes well for ya.  By the end of laser you'll prolly need some electro if your hair is that light
