Little Dragon

Hi >/////<

Just making a brief hello to this place because I wanna make lots of friends with other transgirls so that I don't have to be alone (in terms of transgirls), I live in the UK and I've not had any hormone therapy, though I'm very girly indeed and hoping to improve my girliness :)

Um, I'm not sure what to say about myself first - so please feel free to ask me anything at all! <3

Thanks! xoxoxo

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

There's quite a few of us lurking around hun, I'm sure you'll get to know the rest of us in time. As for support groups, I'd be really surprised if there wasn't one in your area...if you are seeing a counsellor they might know of a group, beyond that I only know about my local group.

Tea and cakes do indeed rock hehe. After noon tea anyone? ;D

Dajeeling please Rock Chick... No milk no sugar.

(actually you must be psychic - Alison has just brought me one in right now... you aren't Alison in disguise are you? ;))

Oh and hi Little_Dragon - from a very old timer in Cornwall.

I'm kind of an honorary member these days, having been pretty well done and dusted for over 26 years. But I am more than willing, as many people know, to give any help and advice that I can, when I'm taking a break from my writing - which is what I do for a living.

Welcome to the biggest adventure of your life :)

I'm real sure there'll be groups in Scotland - not necessarily support ones, I'm not having a mental crisis or confusion or anything o.o I first got into ->-bleeped-<- three years ago, so I'm had penty loads of time to come to terms with my gender identity. I don't see counsellors anymore..

Is there a specific UK-based transgender group/society/community for Uk trans to congregate and socialise and be just be ordinary folk and do ordinary things free from the drama, medicine, psychologists.. I'm looking for something like that... hopefully with TEA, Earl Grey for me :D If any such groups exist, what are they called? I'll google the rest :D I'd very much appreciate it! <3

Welcome to the biggest adventure of your life :)

Thank you, tho as I just said, I've been in this adventure for over 3 years, I really enjoy being myself :) I love going into the clothes shops and browsing through the various garments and looking at the shoes; I especially love going into the beauty shops and browsing the various skin care creams and hair products and a multitude of other self-improvement drugs :)

LOL - no not exactly - that's my home and several generations of my (semi) biological family.

My civil partner (who isn't in the shot) and I adopted so we have children of our own, and indeed in her case grandchildren (from a previous relationship). As you can see we all rub along well together.

As my own SRS (early 20's) was almost before I was mature enough to think about children I never had them. Though it turned out that I was intersex too - so I may have been sterile anyway. Anyway our adopted son is a fine young man in his mid twenties now.

I might do HRM one day, but I don't think I'll ever do the SRS tho, I really like what I have down there, teehee! ^^ My and my bf haven't ever thought about having children yet.. I don't think he wants any tho x) I'd be fine raising a child, myself (iti's a girl thing! aren't i right, sistahs? :D), however, I'm fine with raising our pet lizards <3
