What is your definition of masculine?

Is it the pumped-up firefighter who rushes into a burning building to rescue a damsel in distress? The tanned, toned lifeguard who plunges into the water to save the child who is drowning?

Is it the rugged cowboy who rides a barely tamed horse to round up a herd of stray cattle? The burly bear with the hairy body who chugs beer like there's no tomorrow?

Or is it the dolled-up drag queens who fought back against police brutality at the Stonewall Inn? Or the Adam Lambert twinks who march for marriage equality?

Director Christopher Hines asked that vexing question in his documentary, "The Butch Factor," which makes its television debut on Saturday on LOGO and will be repeated on Tuesday.
