I was informed by a member of staff from the Queens University Human Rights Office that there is a study being conducted at York University in order to research the washroom issues faced by the GL and T communities.  I will be speaking for the TS side of the equation and the interview is scheduled for next Sunday at 2:00 PM.  I'll keep you posted on how it goes.

P.S.  A way of supporting the community in stealth :)

Steph,
If you get interviewed won't they use your name? Also won't it get put on Google someplace? I know I have been interviewed and it went to the paper and the article in the paper went on google.

Nope, I checked first and it will be anonymous, and no pictures.

Very cool Steph!  And you said your totally in stealth, silly girl!  I'm looking forward to hearing about it.
When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.

Steph,
Have you looked up google lately. Put your name in and you will pull your name up and where you live and work. I even looked on Ask and your name came up with pictures. You have a direct link to susans with your picture. I'm not a computer whiz and I can find out about you in 2 minutes.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... no one is supposed to know.

Yep I realize that Sheila, you are a good friend.  There were hits from other site as well before I went in and deleted accounts and pictures etc...  Maybe I'll need to change my profile and other things here at Susan's in the future and eventually my name will stop popping up in the searches. (then maybe not).

I really want to live stealth and I know I'll never be able to realistically achieve that where I presently live.  Heck half the transit, bus companies, and school know about me here.  Oh well... maybe after surgery I'll seriously look at changing things.

Never, ever, use your real name in any forum... or anywhere online unless you WANT people to find you!  Steph, I'd start changing everything right away.

Hey, Google "Cindi Jones" a monicker that's only been used since July 1 of this year.  7 of the first ten results are ME!

That's because you're a famous author now, Cindi!

Cindi,
I think you said that wasn't your real name when you first came on to Susans. I could be wrong. My name is Gari Sheila Coats and if you google that you may find some things and if you google Sheila Coats you will find thing, mainly about either Lane county human rights or eugene human rights. There was an article written about me, but you have to dig and know where to go. My name has been i the paper and you might find that too. If you keep out of the limelight you won't have any google. I had a gagle but lost some weight and lost the gaggle.
