I know what your goin through with your mom. My mom is going through test after test and meds. I feel bad cause there's nothing you can do for them going thru that.

I wish My mom could go with me but she can't.

Wow sorry to here about you mom too Giselle. My mom probably would come, but i swear as much as i love her, that woman would drive me crazy. LOL Too much mothering

Thanks. haha I know my mom is the same way. But since i'm her 'Baby' when I'm sick or in the hospital she goes out of her way to baby me.  I'm spoiled so I kinda just want her there to spoil me ;D and take care of me.

I'm sorry to hear both your mothers are going through that. My mother just thinks I've gone off the deep end so not much support there. My best friend is coming with me from Australia and will be there with me through it all; she's more like family anyway. Good wishes for lots of healing for your moms!

Thanks Hunny Bunch!  My mother was like that in the beginning as well.  As a matter of fact, both my parents were, but they strived to learn as much as possible as to what I was going through.  It really wasn't until they saw that I was making it on my own and my life was becoming so much better that they finally came around.  Needless to say it took a while.  Yours will come around to, eventually.

My mom is just plain ol scared to come on the plane, my dad said he would come but all and all I think it would be really awkward to have him for many reasons.

A) He would probably cry seeing me in pain (Even if i said im ok)
B) I mean which "daughter" wants to show her cocha to her father?
C) I don't know what he would do in the meantime.

While my bf can be there, and at least he can enjoy the city, and he won't cry etc.. :P
