That is so sad. I was hoping to see further posts from Carina, telling how she had got on.  Anyone reading this who feels these impulses, please,please promise not to do anything for a day, and talk to someone.

I weep for this one.

Though we only knew her a short time, I feel her needless loss deeply.

This blessing-inside-a-curse takes such a toll on us.  It shouldn't be this way.

When I read this earlier, I was furious. Not at Carina, but for her situation and that she felt she had no other choice but to do this. I didn't want to post because I don't think my anger is helpful to anyone.

Coming back to this now, I'm mostly just very sorry that this had to happen.

Unfortunately, Cindy, that is exactly what happened.

I sent a note to Dr. Francie from the site listed in the entry to thank her for telling us about Carina.

The family did not want "Carina" memorialized in any way.  The person who made the video reached out to Francie and gave her all the information about what happened in a phone call.

And one more candle has gone out.
