I went a little nuts while I was studying for my quals. I got four big IRS refunds that year (three were for back years), and I spent a good deal of that money on a pocket watch now and then. Kept me sane. But now I have all of these watches, some of which need repairs that I cannot afford and can't do myself. I wanted to learn, but my hands were so dorked up that I didn't see the point. So I merely collected. Only about half of them actually run AND keep decent time.

I even have a little ladies' watch from the 1920s or 1930s. Tiny little thing, and very cute. I've never carried it, though.

That would be the connection, yes. If you look up Dr. Who fob watch explanation I'm sure it'll give a much more eloquent explanation than I'm capable of.

Don't remember a fob in the classic series though, but the newer ones have a watch that can hold a time lord's personality.

Are they really big watches, like our buddy old Flavor Flav (who always gets a pass from me, he was in Public Enemy, that so rocked all else is forgiven) or just he just have a very tiny personality?

For years, I've been meaning to check out Dr. Who. Now that I live a couple of miles from a video store that has the whole series, I suppose there's no excuse anymore.

When you say the whole series...what do you mean? Cos the show has been running nearly 50 years.

But not continuously. I've read that there have been a couple of breaks in there, once for more than a decade. That's true, isn't it?

I haven't verified what she said, but the gal I talked to said that they had DVD sets starting from the show's inception back in the 1960s. I've been in the sf section, and they have a huge row of Dr. Who. I just don't know enough about the show to be sure that it's complete.

I'm thinking that I'll probably get started on that this summer. I understand that the old epis are free online now. I would just rather watch on my TV than my computer. I have a large monitor, but it doesn't compare with the TV.

and a stainless steel ring [no pics... but if you know the stuff they sell at walmart].
Sometimes small stud earrings [less so since the holes finally healed properly]

IDK, a lot of jewerly is really fem ish if you don't pass well IMO.

Only ever saw the surfer type boys wearing things like hemp type ankle jewelry. Though I think to pull it off you need some slightly less shapely legs than I have... with substantially more fur. Hell I've not shaved the legs in about 10 years but I'm not on T so the fur I do have is thin and almost invisible since I'm blond. Have to hold my arm up to the light juuuuuuuust right to see my arm hair even. Boo.

It's one of the best British comedy shows ever.

And ironically it has the actor who plays Dr. House in "House". Only he's way better in the former.

I dont really wear much jewely. I wear a bracelt sometimes its thick and white...i dont know how to describe it, kind of like rope haha and i wear diamond earrings everyday. Some people might say that isn't masculine but its me. I personally wear what I like because really thats what matters

Okay, so this I can talk about Man Jewelry, or as My friend coined it, Man-ery, I think really varries on style. I wear alot of leather corded things, Stud bracelets, crosses and the like. The more thin something is the more delicate it looks. Most guys I know both cisgender and trans wear stuff on the thicker side, made of metal, leather, or bone (i.e. shark Teeth).
