Looking to going down after I get my tax refund next spring but was curious if any competitors have cropped up that would be worth looking at.

Don't know about competitors but my roommate and I went to E2000 (which is now E3000) earlier this year and they are really nice people.  They treated us well :)

A word of warning about the hotel that gives a discount to E2000 customers, perhaps it was just bad luck but....there were people with kids LIVING next door and it was horrible.  The kids were riding thier bigwheels up and down the walkway in front of our room.  The kids were up all night yelling and throwing things at the walls inside thier room.  The "mom" was contstantly screaming and the kids and who I assume was the father ALL FREAKING NIGHT LONG!!.  The next morning they had trash scattered all over the walkway where I guess they just dumped it outside the door instead of taking it to the dumpster.  We complained to the front desk twice and they did nothing.

On top of all that when we turned on the air conditioning....it reeked of urine like somebody had pee'd in the AC.  Then there were the constant gnats flying around the room.

On the plus side the room appeared to very clean and well kept....If you stay at that hotel you may think about requesting a room with no guests on either side of it because you can hear everything that goes on in the adjoining rooms.

I may just rent a car and stay in that for two days.  :)  I actually had scheduled a session with E-2000 and was then laid off right before it was time to go.  Even though it was a last minute cancellation they did not charge me.  MOF, I later ran into the person who was able to get some additional time in on the day I canceled.  :)

I want to go down there as I know that they do fantastic work.  However, I also like looking around and seeing what my options are at the moment.

E2000 or E3000 as they are now called is business just outside Dallas, Texas that does "marathon" electrology.  Instead of the more common 30 min to 1 hour electrology visits most people are used to they can have as much as 8 hours worth of work done in one day.  The business has is licensed to use injections to completely numb the face so that there is no pain.  Usually on a first visit they have 2 people work on you at the same time and that is also an option on subsequent visits.

It's is owned/operated by a TS woman and her wife and thier clientele is, for the most part, TG.  All of the girls that worked there when my roomie and I went were great.  Everyone was very friendly and obviously being TG isn't an issue at all there.  You can google "E2K" or "Electrology 2000" and find thier website easily.

The only bad thing I can say is that family members or spouses or friends or whatever only have a very small waiting area to sit in.  The chairs are comfortable but not for 8 hours LOL.

I guess that I was really lucky to find an operator that worked out of a dental office. She would have the dentist numb me and she would work on me all day.  I only had to drive from my apartment.  We had several marathon sessions.  It worked out pretty well I guess.
