In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.
If it's alright, then you're all wrong.
Why bounce around to the same damn song?

The bottom  bit at the end.

WTF with the condoms? Maybe I'm not in fancy places enough, but... what?

I've seen condom vendors quite a few times.

Condom machines are really common. Places with vendors often have condoms available too, although in the sorts of places I tend to frequent the condoms are usually free. They only seem to try to get money for them in places with a straight clientele (not sure of the reasoning on this, whether it's that women's health is seen as less valuable even than gay men's or what).

Interesting.

It might be more so about the gay community trying to raise caution and looking after it's community. There's not really a straight community/culture like there is an LGBT oriented one. And even so there are ways to obtain free condoms elsewhere, but I think you're right because I only see them charge for them.

They had a basket of condoms in the woman's room at my high school prom...  They also had free tampons and bobby pins and a few cans of hairspray for anyone who needed to use them.  Of course, it was like $75 to get in...

Heh, actually I think you have it turned around.  I've never seen condoms in fancy places.  I think it's seen as a bit gouche.
.
Truck stops though?  All the time.  The seedier the place appears, or the more frequented it is by non-family oriented travellers (ie.  you don't usually see them at family rest stops)....the more likely they'll sell condoms in the bathroom.  (Never been in the bathroom of a gay bar, but I think Kyril is right about that instance)

that's Interesting...they didn't have condoms at my prom....they should have for some of the couples I'll say that. I've only seen condom vendors in club bathrooms, but they also had things like mints, and deodorant, and pens and paper, which in theory I guess are for writing down someones phone number.

On the subject of Etiquette, I think the following link makes some good points, and its worth a laugh. The whole spacing factor between urinals is so true.
