It's an awesome feeling when you realise that there's patches where there's no beard.  ;D

Not quite such a dramatic feeling for me! 25 years since the start of puberty and the most my beard ever got to was patchy, not that I'm complaining :) But it does feel good that after I shave, you really cant see very much by way of shadow and the regrowth is much slower. Preparing myself for Electrolysis for the grey hairs (there aren't many but enough :'()

I had my 4th session today. Ouch as usual.

At the request of my Laser Tech, I got a prescription from my DR. for topical lidocaine. He also prescribes my HRT. This helps out quite a bit.

The second thing i do it take some prescription pain meds. I has them left over form a surgery earlier this year (unrelated to my GID). I don't condone this, but it is what I do.

Laser isn't bad at all compared to waxing my chest. Now that hurts! Think of Steve Corell in 40yr old virgin. Ouch! HRT hasn't thinned out my chest fur yet!

AweSAM!

Just had my 4th session a few hours ago. I've never gotten lidocaine or any other topical pain relievers, just one of those cooling packs in a plastic bag for sterility :D. My only complaint is that my hands sometimes go numb when I'm holding the pack.
