Well, yes, his fees vary according to the patient's specific needs.  I, for example, chose general anesthesia, and he will have to do extensive grafting to create a normal vaginal depth, so the fees for a patient like myself are a bit higher than normal......oh no, poor me, skin grafting...OMG....LOL... ;D

The skin grafts will be hurting for some time after you recover.  It's like having a road rash!

My roommates surgery in Montreal was $16,000 US last May.  No grafting or anything special....just general aenesthesia and a litttle nip/tuck.  Dr. Brassards rates have stayed fairly reasonable over the years....I think Dr. Marci Bowers in Trinidad, Colorado is about the same price.  I'll pay an extra couple thousand if I have to just to have him do mine.  His work is spectacular and as mentioned before.....He's REALLY cute.

My roommate had her SRS on her actual birthday last year.  Right before they wheeled the bed into the OR he stopped and sang her "Happy Birthday".   If there was ever a question in my mind that I might choose another surgeon it ended then.   The man truly cares about his patients and is so humble in the process you can't not love him.

I think that the physicians that do this work are very special to start with. They are so very caring.  It is truly amazing considering the risk that they face with legal issues.
