I know I just made up that term but I'm in a state of confusion. I am 22 and was born female but during puberty the testosterone must have been excreted in excess and it has taken a toll on my physical appearance. My facial features are more masculine than most men I know and I feel like I am trapped inside the wrong body. I just want to look like the sex I was born, instead of feeling like this inbetween freak. I think this is probably the closest group of people who can possibly relate on some level and I stand behind my label. All I want is to be a real woman.

Welcome aboard!

As someone else here has said " No wonder I am confused, one of my parents was a man and one was a woman" !!
"Don't ask me, it was on fire when I lay down on it"

Hi uni,

I'm new too and understand your situation very well. Hope to get a chance to send you a pm soon if you don't mind? As I have a lot in common with what you're experiencing. But I think I have to make more posts before it enables the pm thing.
Love the FTF title.  :)

Hi Uni, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 4600 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Sounds like you will be going thru some of the things us girls go through.

Hugs and Love,
Janet

Your introduction compels me to confess that actually I was once MtM.

For example, I tried to accumulate body muscle, always fruitlessly. And, after realzing MtM is impossbile, I probably changed my strategy to MtF??  I don't know, but this is still an interesting hypothesis. Anyway, my MtF strategy has been more fruitful than MtM.

Well, if you are looking for a facial surgeon, maybe you will want to check out the yahoo FFS support group.  I can't recall whether they will let a non-TS join, but the process of joining it should make it clear.  It's been brought to my attention recently that Susan's ToS prevents me from posting links yet, so just google "yahoo ffs support group."  Once you join, you will be able to see lots of before and after photos of facial surgeries from patients of different surgeons.  These photos are often posted by patients, so the results you see will not necessarily be only the good ones a surgeon picks out for prospective patients to see.  Good luck.

Hi Uni, how do you do?

I think you are a real woman, indeed, you must have confidence, you had found a woman in you, you have female genetic, and you have female voice, and I think it should be more easier for you to be acceptable than me as MTF  :P in our society..... :D :D :D

So, you must have confidence, and makeup is needed, change your hair style maybe, good luck.... :D :D :D is just an opinion from your pre-friend.....hihi (pre-friend=wish you accept me as your friend) :D :D :D

Hello Uni and welcome.

This may be way off base and if so I do apologize, but have you consulted with your doctor about this issue? If there is an excessive production of testosterone, you may have some degree of intersex. I am not a doctor or have any medical training, but it was just the first thing that came to my mind reading your intro.

At any rate, I hope you are able to find all of the answers you need from this site. Worse case scenario, you meet some wonderful people and perhaps make some good friends who will not be judgmental.

Much happiness to you,

Deanna
