So, uh, hi.
My sister linked me here and it looked like a pretty cool place, so I thought I might join. I'm a transguy pre-op, but I prefer to identify as male if people don't have any official papers or identifying documents with my old name on it in front of them. I'll be two months on T on the 17th of this month and I couldn't be happier. I have a week of school left and it's about the only place where I haven't come out 100%, yet, mostly so that hopefully I won't get discriminated again when the teachers are grading me. In the fall, I'll be returning as a guy and I luckily pass very well, except that I'm a little short, but then I guess there are plenty of bio guys at 5'5", eh?
I'm going to a JC college and my voice is starting to crack (it was in a very low female range to being with), but I'm hoping it will drop a lot more before next Fall.
So, yeah, that's about it....I've been riding horses since I was three years old and I'm planning to start showing my Holsteiner when school lets out. I also raise a variety of other animals, I'm a little obsessed with ancient history, writing fiction, singing/songwriting, music and filmmaking. I also want to get back into acting, but last time I tried to audition for a male role in Oliver!, (which, ironically, was the name I took) the casting directors weren't too nice about the "girl" they saw.
And yeah. Pretty much always known I've been a guy and I'm lucky to be born with a square-ish jawline and broad shoulders. Happy to be here, this place looks great.
