Yes. I once quit smoking for 2 months, with help of nicotine patch. Then, I smoked again immediately after stopping the patch. I guess it would be impossible for me to stop smoking.... as long as I can inhale.

I am using this nicotine inhaler, it works like a cigarette. I only use it when I get the cravings bad. today so far I only used it twice.

Wow, congratulations! The first week is always the hardest.

Those Inhalators are pretty handy, I couldn't get used to the harshness though. I stopped 3 weeks ago so not much further ahead of you... apparently most people will be 'free' of the psychological cravings after 6 weeks.

A short anecdote: My boyfriend's mum stopped smoking a couple of years ago using the inhalators and patches and we're all really proud of her for giving up smoking.  The thing is, 2 years on she is still puffing away on her little plastic stick, haha ;).

Nicotine inhaler? It is probably a so called 'electronic cigarette' here. I also tried it, but actually it contains a lot of nicotine, although it does not have any smell. Anyway, it is better than real cigarette.

I have tried everything to quit.  Even after having two strokes I still have not quit.  But I keep trying.

And, Barbie, is not the same as the electronic cigarette, but close.  It is a holder with nicotine inserts.  The difference is you do not blow any vapor and the end does not glow when drawn on.

I am trying the lozenges yet again.

That is great hoping you success!! I am about 2 months smoke free which I always thought would be imposible. I did chantex for the first month but nothing this last month - I have actually been using the idea of transitioning as as a tool to help stay focussed on not smoking when I get the urge -some of those things are going to cost, so for me that has been usefull as a motivator.

Ooh, well done Stacy! :D  Yeah, it's such a waste of good money which could be spent on preserving, changing and making you feel and look better rather than slowly killing you :P
