I have the same type. I step into it upside down so the shoulder straps are on the bottom, pull it up and pull the staps on so it's folded over. I find this works for me, tried just wearing it folded the other way and it kept sliding down. I hope you understand what I mean I didn't explain it very well.
I tried this, but then it just rolled up from the fold, which was much more painful and more visible than the slight roll I get at the hip because it was this big thick roll around my rib cage.
I was able to eliminate rolling by actually doing a trifold, where I pulled it on upside down like Nathan described but actually pulled it up higher than my armpits, folded the bottom edge of the shirt back down over my chest, and then pulled the straps up over the double layer. That moves it away from the part of my torso that bends and flexes. The downsides are excruciating back pain and a bra-like line across the mid back.
Best solution I've found has been to just fold the bottom edge up a couple of inches so it lands above my hip joint and then tuck it into my pants (belted snugly around the bony part of the hips). I ordered a 998 this week, which has a layer of nylon spandex over the powernet and is a full T-shirt shape - it should get here tomorrow, and I'm hoping it'll help with the armpit bulges, the bunching-up at the waist, and the rolling. The compression's supposed to be a little weaker than the 997 but I can live with that.
