Backstory: I've been on the Spiro for about three months now.  HRT has been cleared by my therapist.  The world is awesome.

So yesterday I told my doctor that I was ready to start hormones, and she agreed to write me out a prescription for estradiol patches.  Holycow.  I've had one on me since noon-ish today, and it feels great to know that it's there.  To be honest, looking back at the posts I've made over the past three-and-a-half years I've been here, it doesn't seem like transition would have been for me.  Now here we are.

This is amazing.  A year ago I was lost, depressed, and a huge jerkface.  Now I have an identity, a direction, and a smileyface .  Thanks to all the great peeple here who help out the ones with questions.  I was one of them quite often.

Ok, back to your regularly scheduled programming.  Stay tuned for the inevitable OW,BOOBS posts!

Awesome!  ;D  I could not do patches because I get contact dermatitis.  But you are on your journey and you will be checking daily on the boobage department.  Take pictures for your private viewing so that you can see the changes.  I never did, but I can tell by the way my bras fit.

yay you now start the next chapter in life!
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I honestly thought about making a "high on E" subject line, but cooler heads prevailed.   >:-)

Thanks again to everyone else who replied.  To echo my earlier "I has Spiro!" thread, today I was even more dismayed to wake up and not look like Monica Bellucci. Guess I'll just be patient...

Heck with Monica whatshername. Look like Natalie Rene instead.  I think that is who I would rather see.
