It's not pathetic! Everyone has something they get like that about. And my boyfriend is like this too (you should see him when he sees a daddy long legs), so it's not like you're the only guy afraid of spiders in the world!

I LOVE spiders! Especially jumping spiders. They're adorable.



Lookit that face! How can you not love a face like that-- Magnificent jumping spiders have flourescent green moustaches! (In fact, my mom and I have always referred to them as "flourescent green moustache spiders.")

But but... he's a cute, friendly spider. He wants to be your flourescent-moustached friend!

Jumping spiders are cool... Harmless to humans and pets, plus they keep down the population of other bothersome insects 

Who could not love a face like this?

Aww, cute spiders!  I love spiders!  I don't understand why most people don't like them.  They're fascinating and gorgeous! <3 

(I have so many awesome spider pictures I couldn't resist showing off some of my 8 legged friends!)  In order of appearance: Velvet, evil Cobalt blue, a Mexican redknee, and Bail, the Antilles Pinktoe. (Not that anyone will get that.  Oh well. )


What can I say, I got my first tarantula when I was 9.  I love the little guys.

I love spiders.  They're effective predators for their size, fascinating to watch and think about how they work, and they catch all the annoying flying insects that would be in my room

I quite like spiders actually, then again I am a colossal nature ->-bleeped-<- and there isn't too many creatures that I can genuinely think of that actually make me shriek, squirm or generally have me running for the door if I just so happen to be near one.

Seriously, I make it some kind of mission to try and catch a spider if I just so happen to see one trundling along on their merry way with a piece of paper and a pint glass so I can get a better look at him.

Then I go all Steve Irwin and start chatting them up ._.

Flies irritate me though, so spiders are very much welcomed in this household~

Reminds me of Harry Butler, who used to be on TV here, he'd be teasing a Sdney Funnel-Web with a stick, and say, " look at those lovely big fangs. They can go right through your finger nail, they can.  Isn't he gorgeous.".

aaahhhhhh omg I find spiders absolutely terrifying, Im terrified of spiders, I stepped into the shower yesterday morning, there it was, a very big spider, must have crawled up the drain, I nearly stepped on it, if I had it probably would have bitten me ugh omg makes me weak just thinking about it, I screamed, boyfriend dashed in, thought I was about to be murdered lol anyway boyfriend to the rescue, picked it up and removed it, couldn'd bear to look at it.
I don't find them pictures cute, ''fascination and gorgeous'' no thanks, sorry.... everybody to their own, give me a cute puppy anyday.

Well, it's hobo spider season again where I live... Fun times 

I got my first bite of the season in an embarrassing place... My bum

I guess they want to prove that they are a pain in the something... Luckily I'm ready with some bite cream this year

I've also sent two of them white water rafting on a tissue and have found a few in my spider traps

Luckily I am ready with some spray this year and will be getting on that tonight

I forget how it goes..lady ate the fly, then spider to eat the fly, then ? to eat the spider,  can't remember what that was tho.  Whatever it was, maybe you need one Virginia.

I get alot of Daddy-Long-Leg spiders here... Odd gangly things... Their legs are FAR too big for their little dot-sized bodies, and they look lik you would break them if you tried to move them... :s
