So I made myself a medicine-spoon STP and it's working truly admirably. But (obviously) it doesn't look at all like the 'real thing.' Having never successfully used a urinal (I have tried without a device when I had a men's room to myself while cleaning it, but that didn't work out) I don't know what it's like to stand at one next to another guy.

Now, I understand that the etiquette is to never stand next to another guy if you can help it. And of course looking is absolutely positively verboten. But sometimes places are crowded, and the urinal dividers are sort of short, and a lot of guys are significantly taller than me, and I have this suspicion that an obviously-clear-plastic dick would be something that someone might accidentally catch out of the corner of their eye even if they weren't "looking."

So, has anyone been outed while using an STP device at a urinal? Do any of the taller guys have some insight as to whether something like that might be noticeable? Should I just STP in stalls until I can get a passing STP packer?

Thanks for asking this, kyril.  I've been trying to make a passing STP but so far it hasn't worked.  So right now I'm stuck with my packer and shewee. 

I just use the stall if it's a crowded bathroom, but otherwise I use the urinal.  I do get paranoid about a guy taller than me (doesn't even have to be taller really) accidentally seeing plastic instead of a dick, but I'm not sure what they'd do about it if they did see something.  Or what I'd do about it. 

Heh, the etiquette regarding urinal usage is more complex than just trying to not stand next to another guy. If you walk in and there's nobody around you go to one of the end urinals. Try to put as much distance between yourself and other people. If there is no room for you to pee then use a stall, if that's unavailable look at yourself in the mirror adjusting yourself until one is available.

I haven't been out using an STP other than my STP packer.

No less obvious than a bubble gum pink dick would be!  LOL

Lean way in, and make sure  your hand is holding it all the way to the end so they can't see the plastic.

Beware O'Hare Airport.  NO DIVIDERS BETWEEN URINALS!!!  And crowded.  But I did it.

You might be able to stick the spoon in a cheapie packer.  There is a vid on you-tube where a guy did just that.  He cut the balls off the packer and stuck the spoon through the shaft.  Might be an idea.

To tell you the truth, if I was in a bathroom and I happened to glimpse a guy peeing through something plastic I'd assume he had a medical problem and ignore it.  But then, I'm nice.

awesome advice man.. i never even thought of that.

thats perfect for me.. because I find packing uncomfortable, and would rather just carry my plastic STP in my pocket

Has anybody tried learning how to pee standing without devices? I mean...it's entirely possible, harder to do and wouldn't require carrying anything else around.

I've tried but I can't, I splash too much.

I don't think there is such a thing as a totally passing STP. They all still look like silicone.

There's also the issue with being subtle enough getting it into place. I know I'd need nothing short of two naked female porn actresses putting their skills to work on the other side of the room if I were to get it in place unnoticed .

I have an FTM STUD, and it looks pretty good (great colour - it's not bubblegum pink, provides a good flow, easy to place without leaking, etc)... but I still pee in a stall.

But hey, so do most of my bio-male coworkers. Shutting the door is always optional if you feel the need to inform people you stand to pee .

I tried and ended up urinating all over. But I blamed it on my brother so it's all good

I use my stp in public bathrooms with more than one urinal. I stand real close to the urinal even if there's dividers, so no one could see. Mine's a bright blue formerly oil spout...so yeah. I've never been outed. I get anxious about tall guys too but I figure if I stand close enough it should be no problem.

I can pee standing without a device. It took a few practices in the shower, but it can be done. I haven't tried it in public restrooms yet (kinda paranoid about using any kind of public restroom anyways), but I can now pee standing and aim at the toilet without any devices. And to avoid getting pee on your clothes, you have to learn to control the flow. I haven't tried it yet while wearing pants and underwear (because you have to lower your jeans lower than a bio guy does), but when I build enough confidence in my own bathroom I'll give it a try (maybe I'll try it in old jeans that I don't mind messing up in case I do have an accident lol).
