I struggled for years with the what, why, how, etc of why I like womens clothes and pantyhose in particular.  At this point I'm not as concerned with the why but more of when I can make time.

How do others here maintain that balance between fem and male time.  I personally don't want to be a female, I just enjoy the softer silkier side of life.  I tend to be more stressed when I don't get that time (living situation issues with a sis in law living with us).  So I ask.

I do a lot of stealth cross-dressing. That is to say, all of the underwear I have at this point are women's underwear. I've got some shirts and jeans that are women's, but are androgynous enough to where most folks won't even notice.

On cold days, I'll wear pantyhose under my jeans or slacks.

I feel the same, a little stressed when I can't and feel so much better when I can.

I have no balance to it, I get the opportunity once a week at best and sometimes no times.

Mind you, the more I dress the more I want to and so the balance is forever moving........ smiles xx

I find that I feel better when I have balance in all aspects of my life.  That's my Zen if you will.

I wear pantyhose everyday and I've started wearing panties too (even in boy mode).  I've been wearing pantyhose daily for years (I haven even bought brands made for men).

I agree with you Rebecca, the more I get to the more I want more :)

I am not so much obsessed with pantyhose, but I once was when I could not wear it freely. Nowadays I wear it whenever and whereever I need it, usually with short pants, which can accentuate my leg line. When it is chilly, I wear nude pantyhose while running outdoors.

Only thing I do not wear freely is highheels, but I sometimes wear them at my workplace.

Nowadays I became obsessed with skinny jeans, and I ordered another one yesterday. Those skinny jeans match well with killer heels here.

I am thinking wearing it with black heels this weekend.

I like the term stealth crossdressing  :D I usually just wear panties under my guy clothes, but I understand the need for more girl time.  It's hard for me to get some with my roommate always around.

I guess I see it differently.

It's not about a feminine/softer side.  It's that I try to choose clothes that make sense (to me) for the activity.  Cotton briefs generally make more sense to me than shiny panties (which I would only see when undressing) because of the weather (it's usually hot!) and the fit (the tools don't fit inside the pretty toolbox).  For a dressy occasion, I typically prefer a dress because it's physically more comfortable (I tend to not run as hot as with a suit, and I can breath better) and more interesting to look at (other people are see it, but I get to see it more, too).  Putting on female-designated clothes does not make me feel feminine or softer -- they are just clothes.  If they are ones I don't like, I'll probably be uncomfortable, and if they are clothes I like, I will probably be more engaging.  But then, it's more or less the same way with male-designated clothes.

I want to dress for the occasion, really.

I hear ya... I have a sis in law living with us.  I don't hide my pantyhose wearing, but I do hide the rest.  I'd sure like to have 1-2 nights a week to dress, but that's not in the cards yet.

I dress to what I feel like wearing.  Whenever I go out or to work, it's boy-mode.  When I am home, it's girl- or boy-mode.  I tend to wear casual clothes or clothes that suit the temperature.  Since it is hot right now, I have cami top, cotton panties, and shorts.  I believe that clothes are just clothes.  Wear what you like when you can.  Eventually, sexy isn't comfortable, but comfortable can be sexy. :)

Sounds like most of us share the same tactics.  Panties/ stockings under guy clothes on a daily basis, stolen evenings/ weekends at home.  Also, the part about the more it is done, the more the desire to do it increases.  Kinda like keeping a tiger on a leash- the more slack you give her, the more she wants to run!  So be careful about that (or not, go with the flow).  At least my partner understands and encourages, so I can dress around her too.  She likes having a live-in girlfriend when the husband is "not around". >:-)

Well said,  I just wish more folks would think like you do.  In boy mode I to am like most here and sport comfortable panties an womans undershirts or camisoles.  I enjoy underdressing not to be sexy but I feel better in lingerie.

It is a pity that I have never worn fishnet stockings in public. Most young women here do not wear them in public, and that dissuades me.
