Hi everybody, I'm Madison.
I am a closet transsexual on my way to telling my family, not too sure when. I still need their support however, because I am still sixteen.
I hope to start HRT as soon as possible, for after much (Oh so much) research I've found that starting HRT younger has more success.

I like anime and am in love with Japanese culture and am currently learning Japanese. I enjoy fiction (reading as well writing, I LOVE WRITING,) I hope I can keep you posted on some of my fiction.
I love to cook and sew as well. For a teenager I am surprisingly thrifty (Jeans + scissors = SHORT SHORTS :D)
Anyways, I hope I will be able to become close to all of you and make some friends here to help me along my way.
Thanks everyone,
Madison

Hey Madison! I replied on one of your posts, but decided to reply here too! You being 16, I have to say this... Be completely honest with your family right NOW! You are in the best time to see a therapist and talk about this, and find out what you can do to resolve it (e.g: HRT, FFS, GRS, and even just talk therapy!) I am only 22, which may seem like an old age, but I have realized it is relatively young.  But, male puberty induces a lot of growth that is unwanted if one has Gender Identity Disorder.  In between the ages of 18-19, I grew those stereotypical shoulder blades, the broad shoulders of a male, a huge height (6'3 and a half), and muscle build up.  Between age 21-22, I have filled out... Adding even more muscle and more bulk!! Basically what I am saying is, when you feel you have these feeling of gender misalignment between your physical and mental self... Talk to someone about it! You are at your prime in terms of transitioning genders.  And I did not do it at the time, even though I knew fully well who I was in terms of gender.  Congrats on coming to the forum ;) I am new here too (only 3 weeks on the forum).  But it is helping me find myself, express myself, and be who I want to be.  Hope you take my total, complete rant as what it was, and hope to talk to you on susans.org in the future!

Hello fellow new person. :3

I wish I had the time and patience to experiment with modifying clothing, but I tend to be rather fearful about destroying things. I see you're a bit younger than me; and I really applaud your bravery for wanting to go through with it whilst still going through school. I know I didn't have the courage to do that.

See you around. :]
