First of all I want you to be aware of my English - its not that perfect as yours, guys. I don't want you to think that I'm mentally retarded or something.

It's just my second year in the US.
Ok. My name is Arthur. I am a transgender male, 21, Russian. I'm going to start my transition next year. This forum seems to be a very nice source of information for transgender people.
It is kinda different in my country. I visit some "native" forums, but as long as I'm here, I've got to start to communicate with English-speaking community.
Speaking of differences between my country's transgender community and America's - it's really-really tough for guys out there, in Russia. It's like middle-ages or something. It is hard to get a letter for therapy, and surgeons are not that good (we have only two (!) trained surgeons in Moscow). The society does not accept transsexuals in Russia at all. That was one of the reasons I came in the US with my girlfriend. Another reason is attending a college.
Hope I am being readable.

I would upload some pictures of me later
