I'm just a plain gal...

Beer:  MGD and Boulevard Wheat Beer

Wine:  What a shock, not much of a wine drinker.  I would rather relax sipping on some Gentleman Jack.

Light Drinking:  Love a great Margarita - on the rocks, an occassional fruity rum drink

Serious Drinking:  I'm a Jack and Diet Coke kinda girl.

Cheers......Laurie
Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.

I don't drink now, but my favorite drink used to be long island iced tea.  I used to drink Zima also, an effervescent vodka drink that came in a silver and blue bottle.. ::)

Let's see. For beer it would be Fat Tire.  I like pretty much most wines.  I likes several mixed drinks.  Smith and Wesson (Vodka, Kahlua, Cream, Coke), Zombie (Rum, Creme de Noyeax, Triple Sec, Sour Mix, Orange Juice, Rum 151), Captain and Coke, Jack and Coke, Lynchburg Lemonade, B-52 (Kahlua, Baileys, Grand Marnier Layered), Top Shelf Margaritas, and a lot of other drinks I don't make/order as often as the ones I just listed.  Sorry, I learned a lot of these in bartending school. ;D

My drink of choice.... not beer... I do enjoy pretty much all top shelf and imported beers but they give me a huge headache worse than a hangover before Im even drunk....

As for liquer.....  prefer Liquer.....  therefore I should avoid it at all costs and never step foot into a bar again....

Beer- Blue Moon draft with a slice of orange (delicious and smooth)
Mixed- double rum and diet coke, jack and coke

Also, I will try anything and drink any type of shots.  Will drink any type of wine.

The funny thing is, I NEVER get a hangover and NEVER get sick.  I don't know if has something to do with my metabolism, but I haven't done either in 30 years.  I used to in my college days, but for some reason, I can mix and match drinks (and often do) and never have a bad reaction or hangover.

Beer: Okanagan Pale Ale and a number of cottage breweries. Also draught bitter or black and tan.

Wine: Merlot, Pinot Noir. Wolf Blass and Yellowtail.

Hard stuff: scotch. Fond of Cardhu. Wouldn't say no to Glenfiddich or Glenlivet.

Mixed: What? Dilute scotch? I don't think so.

Beer: Hate it

Wine:  Haven't had much but I like blush wines

Liquor:  Never drink it straight

Mixed drink:  Long Island Iced Tea, Rum and coke made with Appleton rum, screwdriver made with Vox vodka.

I don't have that much drinking experience.

Beer is such a manly drink I avoid it in public. However, Amber bock is what I drink when I do.

Wine is my public drink of choice white or red depending on my meal. I do prefer a Johannesburg reisling if its available.

Hard drinks a swig of Jack followed by a swig of coke, or Drambuie, in a lighter mode I drink white or black Russians depends on the company.

Mixed drinks Captains Coke or a Colada of sorts.

My choices:

Beer: Guinness (Draught or Dark Malt), I can usually take just one.
2nd Beer: Bacardi Silver (flavored or not flavored), I can take up to two.

Wine: Arbor Mist (any flavor), 15 oz, maximum.

Liquor: Bacardi 151 + Mountain Dew (very light mix of the Bacardi), 4 oz, maximum.

My limits are very low, and I get completely wasted with these amounts.  Jack Daniels doesn't like me, but then again most forms of alcohol don't like me.  These three are the only ones that really agree with me (ie, they don't make me sick).

I normally do too, but I found lesbian bars are a great place to drink them in. :)  Actually, the last time I had beer at a lesbian bar was Leigh's memorial service. :(

Hey everyone,

It's funny how alcohol perverts our language. When talking about anything but alcohol, tastes good means that something has a pleasing taste. With alcohol Good = I can swallow without gagging.

I don't drink that often but when I do I have to drink really sweet stuff that is not so hard to choke down. Beer, wine and spirits taste so nasty I really don't see how anyone drinks them, no matter what you squeeze into them or mix with them, however I can choke down strawberry margaritas or daqueries if they don't have to much alcohol mixed in. I have heard that for some people alcohol tastes extremely bitter. I must be one of those people.

Love always,
Elizabeth

All of them?  Heck no.  I've only done bartending professionally for a few jobs--my most recent this past July after I was fulltime ;D--so I don't have all recipes memorized.  I just look them up if I don't remember the recipe.
