I like animals a lot more than I like people.

I have always had pets, whether it was cats, dogs, or fish. I have two cats at the mo, a sweet, orange, trouble-making tabby named Dragon, and a tuxie cuddler named Oreo.

One of my dreams is to be rich enough to regularly donate to the SPCA, and to have at least two dogs, two cats, and a snake. :)

The best thing about animals, for me, is that they judge you on your actions, and not by what they see.

I have a horse,
14 goats
flock of chickens
and three cats

Animal lover, for sure!

That said, I'm kind of a terrible pet owner. My amount of free time fluctuates throughout the year, and during the school year I just don't have enough time to dedicate to being a really good pet owner. I feel really guilty about this, because I got my ferret back in high school when I actually had TIME, not realizing just how much college would eat my life four years in the future.

I really think I'm more cut out for animal rehabilitation-- orphaned baby animals can eat as much time as they want during the summer, because I never seem to have anything to DO during the summer! Plus, it's really exciting being able to release them back into the wild and know they're happy and independant. Sure, I miss them when they go, and there's always the risk that some won't make it, but it's just an overall wonderful experience.

(Technically, the apartment I'm in doesn't allow anything but dogs, cats, and small fish tanks... but that doesn't seem to stop the fact that I have a ferret, my brother has a bunny, and we currently have three baby raccoons hanging out in my room until we have the chance to take them to the wildlife rehab center next week. *whistles innocently*)

I've owned a number of big dog's and i love the fact that each and every one is an individual and unconditional in friendship.

When i went through a crisis over my gender disorder 2 years ago, I lost my human friends you find out who your true friends are after a crisis and there are none... which is why having caring pets is so important human 'friends' only let you down in a time of need.

Well, it's like people isn't it? If you take the time to look properly, animals are wonderful and fascinating but if the gas bill is late then they are just the things that fly and crawl and sing around you.

Pretty much most times, but once in a while, a pet is all there is between you and bottom of a pile of quicksand.

Some people have an empathy with animals, some don't. Swimming with dolphins sometimes snaps that into place for some. Me, it's horses. But, in general, most animals can do that for me. If dogs can do that for you, if it's cats or rats, that's a plus for your emotional stability. I understand it as something that boosts your empathy for others. It's a wonderful feeling, to be able to relate emotionally to animals and people. Without it, what do you really have? Isn't it the real gauge of where you are in the world?

Horse Stalls!  Oh Yeah!  I haven't heard of a horse yet that will take out the daily wheelbarrow load. But, isn't that pretty smart of them to play dumb about it, to get you (how smart are you?) to do it for them? And that feeding them thing.......Hmmmm

Yes I love animals :)
I have 1 cat named Tails (from Sonic the Hedgehog)
He is just like me! Quiet, kinda scidish, but totally fast and athletic!
Poor kitty... he was left in an outhouse with some food and no one was around and he had no collar, I think he was abused as a kitten because he's never really gotten used to people
Whenever I go to the fridge to get food he comes running to get food too and when you start petting him he flosses his teeth all over everything lol!

I love horses, wish I had room but I'm afraid they wouldn't like it much if I kept a horse in my room XD.
