well i think i'm going to order a proper binder real soon
cause this stupid ace bandage is so annoying i wanna throw it out the damn window!

anyways, i've heard lots of good things about the tritop so i think i am going to go with that.

a few questions.

-what is their return policy exactly/is it good?  i was reading up on it but i'm kind of confused. would it be 12$ to send it back? and then you would get (at least the original 30$) the money back for the binder?

-the sizes go by chest measurement. uh...how do i get my chest measurement?

-has anyone had bad experience with it like, rolling/riding up? that's a bit of a concern in my mind, cause i have a bit of a gut lol (but i noticed it's about the same as the dude in the model pic for the binder so i'm probably fine XD )

http://www.underworks.com/983.html

thanks

edit: oh yeah one more thing, how long did it take to arrive from the time you placed the order?

Their return policy is very good. I think that you can easily exchange it without paying extra. I've never had to return anything so I wouldn't know.

For the size you need to measure 2 places...right under your "lumps" and over the fullest part of your chest. Average the two to get your size. With the tri-top if you're at the larger end of a size (like if medium is 32-36 and you turn out to average 36) go for the larger size.

For myself I have problems with it rolling up on my back and hurts a lot. It fit weird in the shoulder and in the front it didn't sit against my skin right. It just doesn't work well for my body type.

I just got my tri top in the mail yesterday and so far I am thrilled with it.  I got a size small and my chest is 34 inches.  That is sizing it down slightly as a small is only 30 - 33 I believe but it's working just fine for me.  After I took about 10 minutes trying to figure out the best way to get it on.  I worked out with it this morning and it went great.  No roll up or at least none that bothered me.  This is going to be comfortable enough for me to wear all day.  Plus it helps my posture a bit.

So much better than the 997 which always rolled up and bunched at my waist and drove me crazy.  I stopped wearing it and was just going with a sports bra which didn't completely do the job.  This is so much better.  I can't sing it's praises enough.

I don't measure cause it depresses me and it would give a good fit as opposed to actually binding. BUt I'm anal about how flat my chest is. So yeah.

In the beginning its really tight. Don't try to put it on like a shirt. YOu gotta step into it. Pull really hard, cause like I said it stays tight for awhile. It cuts into my shoulders and ribs and you may have trouble breathing but I swear...its worth it.

The problem with pulling it on for me is that it wouldn't go past my hips.  My hips are 38 inches regrettably.  I use to step into the 997 but with the tri top size small that just wasn't working.  After stomping around and swearing a bit I managed to get it on over my head.

Zombie I remember you put yours in the freezer overnight to keep it tight?  I was thinking about doing that myself.

I just received the small as I was using my friends medium tri top before buying mine and it was way too big around the stomach area and shoulders.

But the small...TIGHT!
Hope it loosens up quick.

I've not had any experience with it rolling up or anything.
The medium bugged me at the shoulders but that's just due to it being too big so make sure you go by the measurements correctly. I just measured once under my 'moobs' but probably best to measure again over the fullest part of your chest like Nygeel said.

okay thanks for all the feedback guys!
yeah, hopefully i'll actually be able to get it on, i have big shoulders and hips and have had trouble getting certain things on before...

i just figured i'll need one eventually so might as well throw down the money now. and i was just thinking about it because i'm planning on doing some street hockey with a couple buddys friday and am just dreading the whole binding thing. i already know the stupid ace bandage will keep slipping down, cause it does when im just sitting there anyways, so it especially will when running around. might try out the 'control-top pantyhose' method for now (anyone have experience/ever tried this?).

i will have to get measurements soon...now to find a tape measure, haha.
really looking forward to this, it will be so simple with a real binder!

I find it a bit uncomfortable if I wear it for a long time, problem solved now that I cut the bottom off a bit.  I am pleased with mine.
Today I couldn't find it and had to leave the house quickly, and it was the first time I have done that in a long time.  I was so self conscious.. because all of a sudden I was a man with boobs, out in public. I felt like I was in drag.

First of all,
Congrats on going from the ace bandage to a proper binder!
:]

Second,
I love the tri top. I have it in small &im on the high end of the small. It fits me very comfortably &I can get it on like any other shirt.

Idk bout their return policy, you should try emailing them &asking.

The sizes &measurements are explained on the website. Like previously mentioned, under +fullest part/2.

Mine rolls up a bit cause I have a tummy but it doesn't rly cut in &bother me anywhere badly.

Id have to say the tritop is way more comfortable than the df folded in half.

The problems I have are that it rolls up a bit at the bottom &it pops out/doesn't lay flat against my chest.
But its nothing too bad.

Ditto.  I love the double-front, though.  People seem to be split over which they prefer.  In fact, those who like the Tri-top tend to hate the Double-front, and those who like the Double-front tend to hate the Tri-top.  If one doesn't work for you, try the other.

I'm also thinking about getting this one when I have some cash to send off for it, I had my first go at binding with bandages yesterday and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but then again I have worn steal bonned corsets in the past so I guess in one way I'm used to things being tight.

thanks again you guys

and i averaged out at 34 so would that be a medium, or size down to a small?

I also am a 34 and I have a small tritop.  As I think I said earlier in this thread but that's okay.

Once you figure out how to get it on it works very well.
