So I'm from NE Ohio. It seems that both Depo-Testosterone and the generic are on back order from the manfacturer. Every pharmacy I call either only has one vial in stock, or none. I'm due for my next shot Thursday so I'm trying Stroheckers. I'm gonna call them when I get off the computer but I had some questions....

Who does Stroheckers use to ship? How do they accept payment? Are they reliable? How fast do they ship?

And does anybody else have this issue of T being on back order? I freaked when I heard about it cause in my head I was picturing it being out of stock everywhere and not being able to do my next shot.

They are very reliable.  They use USPS to ship.  I am on the other side of the country from them and I get it in about 2-4 days.  I know they take credit cards, but I am not sure if they take any other method.

You might look up compounding pharmacies in your neck of the woods.

Strohecker's is great, very reliable, quick to ship. I don't remember what shipping company they use (go with what Noxdraconis says). I wrote them a check the first time I did business with them, but of course that adds to the turnaround time. I paid by credit card the second time.

I have only had a few T prescriptions, but I've never been told it was backordered.

If you can, it's good to stay ahead of your prescription--that is, have some spare T in a safe place. In my fireproof safe, I keep some needles, some swabs, and a vial with a few doses. When I come to the end of my now-full vial, I will use up the stuff in the safe and then replace it.

I figure that if my house burns down or someone breaks into my house and steals the backpack with my regular T supplies, my backup supply will last till I can get new scrip.

i just made a thread on this but i get my T from the Apothecary Shop. i am also from NE Ohio and they are located in Columbus. it arrived the very next day. im not sure what kinda T im on or if its the same as yours but give em a try maybe.

I just contacted them, the Apothecary shop. Then called my doctor. He's gonna hopefully call in my script today and then I'll be able to get my T. I'm due for my next shot Thursday...and I'm really hoping I get to order my stuff today. They quoted me $50 for a 10ml vial...I already have needles. What happened to $30?

That's exactly why I asked (was it on another thread) where their prices are posted. You might have a different concentration of T to base...I'm curious to see the answer to your question.

Hm. I'm on the "normal adult dosage" I'll say since we can't post doses. Anyone know the difference between Depo-Testosterone and this compound that the compounding pharmacy makes? They said my doctor would have to call in a completely separate order for them cause it wasn't "depo-testosterone", it was T in a sesame oil compound.

I understand that Depo (T cypionate) has a cottonseed base and the other most common injectable, enanthate, is in sesame oil. Does sesame cost more?

BTW, I also have read that some guys are allergic/sensitive to certain oils, and compounding pharmacies can put your T into an oil that doesn't give you problems. I think such pharmacies just make whatever you ask for.

Cool. I'm not allergic to anything AFAIK. I called my doc and was told "as soon as he approves it, we'll call it in. Should be by tomorrow morning". Grr. I understand I have to be patient but that's not my strong point.

I hope hope hope it arrives by Thursday for my 3rd shot. I think I'll ask for expedited shipping when it's called in, even if I have to pay more.

Oh and yeah I just remembered reading my insert on my first vial of T...it is is cottonseed oil. The depo is.

I have never heard of 50 dollars. I get the sesame blend for the 36 dollars. I have heard that one of the benefits of sesame as opposed to cotton seed is that sesame oil tends to control the acne a little better. I would bring it to their attention that you kno guys who get it cheaper so what's with the whole 50 dollar thing.

Well, we may be on different doses. That would explain why. I didn't mention it to them this time around. Plus it might be more for shipping to me, cause I'm further from them. But they said it should be here tomorrow, yay!

Good. It's amazing how much anxiety we can suffer when we think we won't get our stuff in time for the next shot!!!
