Before i started my HRT, i had a pretty close male mind as it was. But damn those estrogen hormones that made me think stupid stuff sometimes lol

Now that I've started HRT i have began getting such male thoughts that now make me understand why guys do what guys do.

For example, since i'm crushing real bad over another guy that i cant have, I'm having urges to forget about him by going to find someone else. I didn't think like that before. I am gaining a new sense of logic on how to deal with things. And it's giving me a better understanding of why guys do what they do that girls misunderstand in us.

The first time some lady texted me too much I saw clearly how in my F days trying to date post-divorce, what I thought was being friendly was WAY TOO MUCH and I obviously drove guys off.  Oops.

I definitely don't let things bother me any more.  I'm also eager to tackle things that require trips to home depot and power tools, and recently installed a faucet.  Not that I was a total stranger to those things, but less eager to tackle them and more ready to let someone else do it.  Now I want to find out how it works and fix it myself.

Sometimes I think I already have them though. I react the same way as you, Jay, when girls (or anyone else for that matter) text me or call me too much. I'm just kinda anti-social in that way though. XD

It's kinda fun to hear how a guy thinks. It's fascinating how HRT can affect that...

It doesn't really affect the way you think so much as how you react to things I think.

True, but I don't over-think and over-analyze and all of that stuff so much any more.  Now my brain races with what I have to do, or a problem I have and how to solve it, rather than other random stuff.

Sorry to butt in to guys threads (I only do it on days with a y in them)

I always use to fix anything at home that went wrong. Take the washing machine, vacuum cleaner et to pieces , find what was wrong get the parts and fix them, usualy took weeks. Mow the lawn, service the car, put up shelves, build stuff etc.

I totally cannot be bothered now. I get men in to do that stuff. I feel totally happy with it. Even though some are jack-asses. I know enough not to get ripped.

I cannot believe it is hormonal, I think it is a lot of 'society perspective' in that I was pretending to be male and now I don't pretend  and I'm happy to look for help.

BTW I didn't mean nor should the post be described as sexist. I know many men and women do different  and equal stuff. It just how I'm feeling. developing etc.

But, i think thats part of the anxiety i suffer of which i'm just learning about 

If i don't have a manual than I can't put anything together.  I love building model cars/boats/whatever but i wouldn't have a clue what to do if there wasn't a step by step guide.  My gf fixes everything if its broken.  I needed to install a washing machine and had no clue what to do.  My gf came over, turned her hat around so it was backwards, and was ready for business.  I just stood there handing tools and whatever she needed.  I wasn't bothered.  We always laugh that if we each had our own tool box, mine would be a tiny one and hers would have all the tools and drills.
If anything goes wrong, i'm ready to call my mum in an instance although that habit is dying real quick.  I'm just afraid that if i touch anything, i'll break it...

I think this is true. Whether we want to admit it or not both sexes have rules and expectations in society. Once we show our true selves our expectations can change. We will (or won't) do things we may not have previously done before.

I kinda like taking things apart to see what makes em tick. I just usually have to wait till they don't 'tick' since I can't afford to replace one if I can't get it back together again. If I can fix it or make it work better or more to my specs, that is even better.

My toilet just broke--just the flush lever--but instead of calling the landlord, I'm planning a trip to Ace to get what I need and fix it myself. I'm looking forward to fixing the thing.

I actually think I feel this way because I'm single now and just want to do things myself. Not sure if HRT has anything to do with it...after all, my cisgender ex used to complain endlessly whenever something broke and demanded attention. If there was any possible way to ignore the problem and just "make do," he would do it.
