Today, was officially my first day binding. I had my friend Mike over and he was really supportive and helpful, the first person I've come out to.

We went into the city, throwing my self in the deep end ftw, haha. I even used the male toilet, granted no one was in there though XD.

I think I passed pretty well.

Passing examples:

1. This is like a half pass; In the elevator and a lady says "I like your hair, man." and her friend says "That's a girl...Wait, are you a girl or a boy?"

I said I was a boy.

2. In a chemist; Chemist Lady-"Can I help you boys?"
Me- "Ah, yes...Do you have any earrings?"
Chemist Lady- "Just the one?"

3. Sorta... I was on the train and I saw a girl I knew, she sorta looked at me and didn't say anything, then I went over and sat with her and she said "Oh, it is you! I thought it might be but I was like 'No, that's a guy!'"

Yeah, all in all a pretty awesome day. :)

Care to tell me some of your passing victorys?

My biggest victory is...I'm still alive.  The rest isn't a win lose deal so much as it is just living.  A thrill when you realize you can actually fit in but a stab in the gut when you don't.

most recent victory.. calling to yell at the cable company, and finally being called sir over the phone. that made me calm down faster than anything the guy had to say :)

Being called sir even while airport staff (airline and TSA), hotel staff and others look at my passport (which as my pre-transition photo and F as the gender marker plus original feminine name).  ;D

Congrats, it's always great to pass.

One time, when i wasn't even trying, i sort of passed. I was at a horse show with a friend (who is very supportive) and some lady getting food almost bumped into us. She said "sorry girls" then looked up at me and said "...uh, boy, uhm... girl and... oh, just sorry!"

But my biggie so far was a month or so ago, we had a huge garage sale (whole neighborhood actually) and some old guy my grandfather knew was talking to my grandfather and dad. Something about the internet. He glanced at me, laughed, and said "i'm sure this young man here would have a lot more to say about that than us old folks!"

The kicker that really made my day was that no on tried to correct him. No one. I don't know if they where just being polite by not pointing it out (which is odd cuz in the past they would have done it in a heart beat) or what, but no one said anything.

I was on cloud nine that whole day.

I don't pass often. Usually if i open my mouth all bets are off. Some clothes, too (tighter tops for instance.) But i take what i can get. Not expecting much until i finally go on T (which i'm hoping would be soon but not likely to happen until i get my own place.)
"It's not a lie if they make you lie. If the only truth they can accept is their own."

"..since God is love, and God doesn't make any mistakes, then you must be exactly the way He wants you to be."

Thats awesome! Especially the second one  ;D

Last night I was on msn in a video call with some 15 year old girls in Canada. They could see aaand hear me  :o But it was great!  8) They didnt even suspect a thing! They have known me as male (they dont know I was female born) for almost a year now tho  ;) Last night was just the first time they were together again, and I thought "why not have some fun"  ;D Although they did tell me I sounded like a 13 year old :P Not too bad!

I can't relate in the same way to not passing now as I'm post-op and post-T and stuff, but I remember the glory days.

I was a recluse for a long time let's just say but when I eventually braved it, I found it was a 50/50 split passing. It's cool that you set the record straight with those women - although I hate that people are so audacious that they ask people that sort of question to their faces.

Though it is was kinda embarrassing to be asked she didn't ask it in a mean way, just generally curious, so I didn't really mind.

I know man. I've had it before myself. It's just like...did ya have to ask that? Sometimes it is a little embarrassing but people are funny. Some just wouldn't say anything but hey.

Well done on the passing though  :icon_woowoo:

This happened today.

I was sitting in some thermal underwear and for some reason they buldge at the crotch but anyways the ambulance had to come to my house. The guy asked my mom if it was okay if he(me) stayed here. It made me feel good.

To top it off I wasn't binding, which I hardly do because I have extra fluff so it's okay if I have some moobs. I have rather large hips and people still think I'm a bio male.
