FYI, if you are low income, you should look into a fee waiver for your name change. I don't know if all states have them, but it can't hurt to look.

In this state a fee waiver is mainly for Disabled or welfare.   Either way I did not qualify.

Know where that is? anyway i'm planning on attending Clemson too. u graduating anytime soon? it'd be nice to have a brother when i get there. lol. It's a shame that family cannot accept the facts.  Some times u just got to go for it.  My son told me today that he has been wearing his sisters clothingl.  I told him you cannot wear your sisters clothes, we after school we will buy you all new cloths.   He (she ) is giving her old clothes away.
