I've held back.  Yes, Cindi has not been totally honest with her friends here.

I am a pastor.  Yep.  Go figure.  I'm dead serious about this.  I can legally marry friends and hold services here at the ranch.

You can come believing in whatever you wish.  And I'll show you the universe.  There is no church here. We ask for no contributions. There is no organization. There are no records. There are no standards for you to maintain. You have your own and you are welcome to keep them.  There is only mother earth here.  It's really simple.

What is the name of my Church?  Sorry to disappoint you... as I said, there is no church.  It is an UN Church.

So does any one want to un-join?

;D

Un-sign me up, Cindi!  Take me off the list so I can join.

Can I be the Great Lakes Region rep?  Huh?  PLEASE!?!?

I've actually been considering hooking up with a seminary or church that would "ordain" me on-line so I could weddings and things like that.  Is you being a pastor a holdover from your LDS days or something that came after?

Helen, you are now unofficially not a representative of Cindi's un church. You have no responsibilities or power.  You have no authority to do anything.  Congratulations, you are officially un weclomed ;)

My being a pastor has no tie's to my past.

Geez Cind, wish I could join but I really need to feel guilty about something if I'm going to follow a faith.  What you're proposing is no pain, no sorrow, no anxiety, no hiding your real self.  Who would want that?  Only sane people, that's who!

Pastor Julie reporting for service!  Can I be the Cardinal in Chicago?  Oh, and I'd like one of those hats too!  But I want mine in bright pink  ;D

Julie
When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.

Yes, you are free to feel unguilty.  You are officially not recognized as the unCardianal in Chicago.  Unofficial hats are not recognized so you are free to wear what you wish.  Although some unmembers have been known to wear pointy tinfoil hats on occasion. You are unofficially not welcomed to Cindi's unChurch.

At last, a church I can go for - particularly when the non-collection plate isn't passed.

I assume you get the tax write-offs, exemptions and privileges due all the other churches that come out the purses of the rest of us.  Hey, this may be the answer to the discrimination directed toward us; make ->-bleeped-<- our religion, and act like some of the others by forcing our beliefs on society and insisting on acceptance and compliance.  (Don't fret, I'm just running wild here, although I must say that the tax benefits look promising.)

Of course we have to be careful.  An unchurch has to have a lot of unbeliefs and a serious sense of noncreede.

Sorry Cindi, I'm badly complicating your church.  I guess you need to uncommunicate me.

No, you do not complicate.  There are no profits, no statements, no collections, no taxes, and no reporting.  We act like no others.  We don't officially do anything.  Any beliefs you have you are free to keep.  But I strongly urge you to become unguilty ;)

Cindi;

I too am uninterested joining the unchurch. I would kind of like to not join in the field of evengelism since I would take great delight in going nowhere and sharing nothing with nobody.
Please let me know if there are any special proceedures to being unlicensed or unordained.

You must not attend a seminary and you must not receive a doctorate in any unreligious affiliations.  Only then shall ye be unordained into the nonministry. It is important that you be uncelebate to receive your noncalling.  Be ye therefore unperfect even as all who are unperfect.  Thus not sayeth Cindi, your pastor and unleader.

Blessings be not unto ye and your unfamily.

Cindi;

You have my most non-sincere, unfeigned lack of thanks for your answers and insight into these questions I have thought so little of!
I do have one question as I enter into these not so hallowed halls.
  How big is this church?
I have always wanted to be just a small part of something that is unknown worldwide.
I just can't wait to miss the first service!
  No thanks in advance.

Hi Cindi, I think I might be uninterested in joining your unchurch. It sounds like it may be unsuitable for me.  It does sound quite unimpressive.  I have some questions you might be unable to answer.

1. What is the undress code for the unchurch?
2. Do you hold ceremonies for the undead at the unchurch?
3. Are there any infamous people that unattend the unchurch?
4. Are GLBT rights unprotected in the unchurch and are they unwritten anywhere?

You unresponsiveness in answering these will be unappreciated.  I am very unthankful.

Can you call your un-church something other than church? That has "christian" conotations that are not exactly inclusive for the Hebrews who go to Temple.

Indeed Bri, the unchurch does have a name.  It is called Life.  It is all inclusive. No one is denied inclusion.
