Tree

but I guess this is a space where I can try.

My name is Tree, and I identify as genderqueer/something. Maybe not androgynous, although that could be because I find it difficult to present androgynously (in the mainstream sense). I am not skinny or flat-chested and I sing soprano, but so much of the way I live is internal that a lot of the time that doesn't matter.

Things I wish: that I were stronger, physically and emotionally. That every place on earth were idyllic and cooperative. That everyone asked about pronouns (my preferred pronoun is singular "they" which unfortunately bothers a lot of people who like grammar a lot).

Things I like: plants. Thinking about landscape. Art. Thinking about art. A lot of things.

Things I identify as: gender-nonconforming. Transgenderqueer. Feminist. Luna moth. Quaking aspen. Crazy. (Someday I will also identify as "artist" once I feel more like one.)

Oh, and I am here thanks to my dear friend Crow, who has been floating around here for awhile.

It's a Tree! Hi there and welcome to here~ (Obviously, you already know me.)

Also, the androgyne board is a really great place to lurk. There are lots of not-skinny, not-flat-chested, not-stereotypical androgynous/genderqueer/nonbinary people here, and they're lovely and welcoming and incredibly eye-opening to be around. (Just beware of the fruitcake-- you might want to arm yourself with a spork.)

Everyone is so kind! thank you all, and I am sure I will be around, asking questions but maybe not aaalways seeking answers. Sometimes I subsist on unanswered questions. ...!

Thank you for the linkage! I'd been wondering a couple of those things.

Tree:

Your intro rocks ... I love it!  Artsy people are so cool.  You sound to me like a real thinker who really ponders things.  You'll like it here at Susan's.  There are people here you can, and will, relate to.  Give it a chance.  Relax.  Post.  Just be you.

Glad you're here!

Hey Tree,
Nice to 'meet' you! Being on this forum has enabled me to meet such a hugely diverse group of people, who manage between them to smash all societal stereotypes built up around us. Rather cool.
I too like questions. Things to ponder.
