Most of my friends are girls. I'm usually entertained by most of the conversations, but occasionally I do just switch off or have nothing to say about a particular subject.

Now if my female friends had more conversations about knife laws then I'd be ok 

I would say its cos of where you come from except i know that when my gf reads this shes gonna slap me. which could be a good reason for putting it

Ha yeah you're probably right. Shy and retiring is not a common trait around here

I found that out when i met my partner. Also found out that getting dressed up to go on a night out even just to a mates house meant the full works. In fact she did say that its totally unheard of for people NOT to get dressed up in Liverpool for a night out. Mind you shes the same age as me so dont know if its the same now. I ve never managed a night out there; only visited during the day

It is most definately the same now. What confuses me most is fake eyelashes. I'll stand up for a second and when I go to sit down again someones fake eyelashes will be sprawlled out all over my seat along with the rest of the make-up kit.

Those confuse me, too.  They're strange things to me.

The whole make up thing always confused me. In a way i was quite glad to realise i was trans cos it meant i was never gonna have to do those things that i didnt understand anyway

I've never understood women. I remember in middle and high school just standing there...trying to figure out why I felt like and knew I didn't fit in or understand a thing they said. I still don't understand them. The more I live as male the less I comprehend them. Esp their emotions.

I'm supposed to have a Ph.D. on the subject of women. But the truth is I've flunked more often than not. I'm very fond of women; I admire them. But, like all men, I don't understand them.

I don't think women are that hard to understand. I get along with both men and women equally well.

I categorize things into different types of people, as I've seen both exhibit similar types of behaviour based on the kind of person they are. One gender might be more inclined to act a certain way based on their up bringing, but it's not a definite.

The comic Crypt posted has some truth to it. That's how my emotions changed while on T, but I don't think it changes how people choose to act about their emotions either.

I hate girls jeans/trousers, they have no pockets and I don't know WHY? I mean I'm only wearing a pair today because I have no others clean (I need to go on a clothes buying spree at some point) and I don't know what to do with myself. I'm looking into buying a messenger bag, or at least a bag that doesn't look female. All I have is my rucksack/backpack thing and my knitted bag that's too feminine.

I can't get on with women either. I just never know what to say. But I've always gotten on with men/boys, I guess now I know why. *laughs* Well, I can't stand, or get on with chav men, they scare me. Chav's in general scare me. They're just....pointless, heh.

The simpistic emotional viewpoint of a male does make for a wonderfully uncomplicated, if sometime baffling (when dealing with those of us on the female side) life, but to be frank I still prefer my emotional complexity.

THIS! Big time! My stepmom did say it explains why many times I'd have a confused look and glazed eyes. It is a different language! However, I have little problem with guy conversations which would probably make women feel the same thing.

AUGH. Okay, this drives me bonkers. Ha! Sorry to barge in.. I just came back from chemistry exam and saw this post, then I saw all the purses talk!

Here is the bag I carried for the exam today (ungirly, ha!):
It was just a normal black backpack, which included:
20 pages I printed with chemistry sheets for the university exam.
Chemistry book.
War of the Spider Queen book 3.
Games Graphics Programming book.
My pencil case (it's cute though)
Cell phone
Wallet with all my IDs, student card, credit card
Umm...... I think that's about it.. IT WAS HEAVY!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh and I didn't use the two extra books at all. Just the chemistry stuff.. I always carry a book or two extra though

I actually have handbag but I rarely use it.. it's not comfortable to hold things as you go around.. I use it only when I feel expected to. It as enough size for everything..

I have another hand/shoulder bag which is smaller and easier to carry as it is on the shoulder.. I only take it if I only need money cause my wallet won't fit the pockets Also putting things in pockets doesn't seem to help.

At one point I used to have make up in my bag but I stopped, I just never use make up, I tried for a bit, it was nice but I rarely find a reason to.. I might put it if I was going out for something fun, but just for school.. no reason. I do use sunscreen though ^^

I noticed men are becoming more and more foreign to me. They always were, I always got along well with women, but now 2 years after starting it seems to become stronger and stronger.

I just find myself much more comfortable with women, easier to talk to, enjoy, pass time, even with random ones.. Although sometimes it's really fun talking to random men too! in a way that never happened before

But other times men can just be HORRIBLE, like even if you can find someone to talk to at random, it's rare and it's different from what it is with a woman, although at times it can be nicer, I dunno, maybe cause they are men But women are jsut easier to spend time with usually. And men that I know for sometime usually become harder and harder over time to be with. So yeah, at sometimes men can be great, much more fun than a woman. It is different.. But it usually doesn't last. And the conversations are just way different, not sure how to explain it.

The way I socialize just changed a lot it seems. Being able to just easily engage conversation with a complete stranger and both of us have fun so easily.. is nice. Also I seem to be giving subtle info to my opinions and feelings better.

Though I can't really understand men.. just ask my boyfriend A lot of them are just weird, childish, messy, weird, irrational, childish, weird, childish, weird.. umm.... But hey, I know they say quite a few things about me.. "she's messy, she's clumsy, she's silly, she's...... irrational, illogical, emotional.." So it goes both way.

Many times I notice that men really do treat me simply as different species, like, they won't want me in their conversation, they might rather shut up if there is a woman around.. or they tend to treat me as if I am this "cute little silly person" (someone told me that, without the silly part) and have fun in a way. if it's one man only than they usually act much better though, suddenly you are a bit more of a person to them... But not all are like that at all!

As for the actual guy friends, well.. just like been said, different species! But hey, my boyfriend is awesome <3 Even if we speak two different languages we simply love each other We do have a lot of understanding and comfort. The way we think is different, but that's how it is! And there are similarities.

So.............. My bag is HUGE! and heavy!!!!!! And it's good, I break my back and lose weight + I have geeky books in it which I might actually read sometime...............!!!!!!!!!!
