I can't leave the message body empty, but there are really no details I have to add to this question.

In short?
Not really.

Phalloplasty leaves a lot to be desired in the appearance department.  There's only so much you can do with flesh from the arm, ribcage or thigh, to make it resemble a natal penis.

Metoidioplasty often strongly resembles an uncircumcised penis, but there are significant shortcomings in size.  I suppose the best description of metoidioplasty would be that the end result is often a perfect in appearance micro-penis.

Transbucket has pictures of completed surgeries, as do many of the FTM Bottom surgery surgeons.  Look for results that are at least 6 months post-op, as they are more representative of the final appearance.

I don't really have much to add, but I agree with this.  It's the reason I'm not going to get bottom surgery.

I've heard that after your junk grows on T, if you get meta it basically looks like a very small penis.
  •

Silver

Only if you get really lucky and develop a penis on T larger than a micropenis.
  •

Between Names

Yeah, true...  Otherwise it would look like a very very, very small penis...

This.

I figured I'd rather have a micropenis than no penis.  :)

Meta can produce "very small" but otherwise relatively normal looking results.

Well, actually, I recently discovered a legit and safe phalloplasty done only in Europe that does not use skin/muscle that would normally leave intense scar tissue. It's called MLD Phalloplasty which uses the musculocutaneous latissimus dorsi flap (MLD flap), a piece from your back, sort of side area. It apparently leaves little to no scar tissue as long as you follow proper pre-op instructions that involve professional massaging of the area. It also allows you to choose your "size" and makes it appear far more realistic. This also allows you to perform any "activity" that any other man could. There are requirements to get this surgery though, like other surgeries need to be done before this and (as far as I know) two letters of referral from psychologists. This is, of course, only information. I do not know anyone personally who received this specific operation.

However, I do have a link to the website for this doctor/company. I just need a Mod to approve it first, just in case. :)

I have that link saved on my laptop's Favorites. I really want to get that done - unless a surgery more realistic comes out, which will probably happen since I'm still in my teens and don't imagine I'll be getting surgery done for at least five years. Mainly the reason I want to get this surgery done is because you can choose the penis size (and I don't want a super small penis) and you can have sex and it looks more realistic. However, it probably costs a lot more than I can afford money-wise.

This is true.

For me, having A penis is better than NO penis.

I've read a lot of the surgeon's stuff, he seems excellent, the methods they use are safer than the majority of phallo operations, and he specifically says that he works out financing plans for patients who can't afford to pay up front. The only downside is the wait between surgeries when coupled with the fact it's in Europe. You'll either need to get a hotel (the hospital will set you up with one for around $2000something for the month and a half wait time) or fly back and forth. Depending on where you're coming from (aka the flights available for you to take) it may or may not be more cost effective to take the hotel option, but consider time that has to be taken off of work (you have to take it easy during that time, regardless).

But yes. It's at the top of my list, but I'm also trying to get some information on the Centurion. It's such a specialized procedure that I haven't been able to find any pictures of the results at a decent length of time after the operation.

Wouldn't it be possible if they like, injected growth hormones into the clit or something?

People have thought of this before and as of right now the answer is basically no lol

I'm with you on that.  That's the positive side of being a 20 year old who is broke lol.  Hopefully by the time I can actually get the money together something better will come along.

I'd very much like to know which doctor/company, as I live in the UK and this sounds good. PM me please.

Whenever i've seen photographs of Phalloplasty results it's always made me very depressed about my options for bottom surgery but now this gives me a little bit of hope! The option to have a normal sized penis that looks realistic is all i could ask for :)
