I am currently on Depo Provera for about two years now.  I know that I can't have these shots forever because of its side effects...
Recently, I heard of Novasure (endometrial ablation) where it would supposedly stop it completely.  I was just wondering if anyone has actually had this procedure done on them?  If so, do the periods ever come back at all?

They can, when they do, they are often lighter.

I've been on birth control pills for over a year now, and although it's female hormones, I felt that I had to do something because my periods were so severe. They were so painful that I would faint from the pain, and I grew to be terrified of that time of the month. While the pills helped, it's still not helping me as much as I want it to. I also have crippling PMDD.
Would it be a good idea to find out what I can do about this? I know that taking SSRIs helps with the mental effects of PMDD, but should I also look into a different medication? Would taking a different pill change my periods? I want to make them as short and light as possible. =/
