Dose too low?

A few months ago when I was due to get my T prescription refilled my endo cut my dose in half. Prior to my dose cut I had very little noticeable drop T levels at the end of the week, at least none that affected my mood. Now that it has been cut in half I feel really irritable at the end of the week when I am due for my shot. I know someone is going to ask about my T levels but my endo didn't prescribe me for new bloodwork until september.

Could the drop at the end of the week be because my dose is too low or is it just the highs and lows no matter the dose?

I'm on the same dose I've been on for 8 weeks. I'm due for bloodwork on the 19th.

I hit a point nearing my next shot, I guess anywhere from 7-3 days from my next shot and it's hell. I get angry, dysphoric, think I don't pass as well, half suicidal, irritable, depressed, anxious...it's like a giant mind****. I was talking to my friend today and he gets it too. I know it's from my T levels being low right before my next shot. Cause as soon as I do my next shot I'm fine again. I think once our bodies get used to the T we should've always had in us...that without it we feel horrible. There would probably be the same effect on a bio man if you cut his balls off and observed him. His T levels would drop, and he'd have similar symptoms. Men with low T levels get like this.

Yeah but I just didn't think that I would get the drop this extreme because I inject weekly....

Yeah, forgot to mention that both me and my friend do it every other week. I was thinking that maybe that's why we're getting it. I'm gonna ask about doing every week instead.

Maybe regardless of injecting weekly your T levels are still remaining lower than they need to be cause of your dose being cut in half? The higher dose may have maintained you longer, making the week end drop off not as hellish.

It sounds to me like your experiences are pretty indicative of a low dose, but that's just my opinion.

I started on half dose and I often find myself feeling irritable at the end of my second week. Although when I had my bloods done, I was on the higher end of the normal male range.

I think it's just one of the side effects of the "instant" (as opposed to slow release) forms of T.
