Hello everyone!

I've been checking out this site for years but never signed up until now. A bit about me. My name is Tricia, started hormones at 16, FINALLY getting SRS now at 30 on September 14th of this year 🙂 The reason why it took so long? The gender clinic closed down in BC then i was in europe for a few years.

But i'm super excited now that I have my surgery date, as well as BA with Dr Brassard in Montreal. I just got the date last friday after I got my approval from MSP the day before. It's crazy that I got only like 60 days notice. I heard it was usually about 6 months, but i'm not complaining!

I'm so excited to finally put this part of my life behind me and feel complete 🙂 I'm shaking with excitement. I can't wait!

Thanks MsGiselle! I'm definitely excited to be here, and find out more. Mind you I could probably write a book about the procedure, it's the aftercare and next steps i'm looking for and make sure all my bases are covered =)

Thanks Kristyn! I think i'll be fine with the date I have haha :p. Congrats to you too! I'm sure we'll be talking to each other in Montreal =) There really is alot of girls going to Dr Brassard this year looking at all these posts 🙂 (actually seeing your date was one of the reasons I joined these forums!

I'm sure we will--we'll be in the hospital at the same time.  Do you know which date you'll be arriving?  I'll be there Sept 12, that's a Sunday

Not yet, but I will find out soon when i'll be able to get a ticket. I am thinking the 10th or the 11th, and visit a friend there too while i'm there.

We shall see! I just found out friday so i'm still in shock lol Lots to do!

MsGiselle.. I just saw that you have SRS in 4 days. that's great! Congrats girl!

My OFFICIAL B-day is in December ''Cappy'' baby.

But my 2nd B-day is now July 15th 😀 I''m gonna celebrate both and I expect gifts for both

Well actually in 13 days I'll have 3 more months but i get what you saying. 😀 When i started my count down clock on my computer it was at 200 days today's its at 105 days. I hate it sometimes its seem like it well go buy fast and sometimes time seems to just stand still.

Have you tried calling the office and seeing if they can put you down on the list if someone cancels? Tricia got her date on (I believe she said) Friday? so there must have been a cancelation on the 14th. I would call to see if you can move up.

I would have loved to book it earlier. When i scheduled there were opening in Sept but i had to go for October. My brother is coming and that's the best time for him work wise. That and i already got my plan tickets and stuff so i will just have to be patient.

SRS Oct 26th Return Home Nov 2nd so yeah Halloween in Montreal!

Yep! I found out about the date last Friday. And today I found the dates when I will be in Montreal.

September 10th arrival date, September 14th surgery and September 28th I depart. So exciting!

I should get the package this week sometime.

omg it seems like just yesterday I was at 105 days. The closer you get the faster the time goes, and then it will be done and you will be the happiest girl on the planet!

weeee! Im Sept 7th 2010, ill be 3 days post op on your arrival, my name is Sara look for me 😛 Ill probably be back in the recovery house vs. hospital.

And yes i am getting srs w/ brassard!

P.S. I am not hard to miss, I have big boobs 😛 ***whistles
