Hi everyone!I'm new to this forum today ^^

I'm younger, and I'm Korean but I've been living in New Zealand for a very long time. I think it's been about 12 years since I came to NZ :D

I'm pretty feminine, and I took the online COGIATI test and I scored 275 :D

I'm not sure whether if his is correct because I took this test in a rush;;;
Well, I have been seriously considering about what my real gender is because I tend to get along better with girls rather than boys, I get told to stop eating like a girl, write like a girl (as in handwriting) (P.S. I'm currently attending a boys school), walk, talk, act like a girl, play feminine computer games, and there's pretty much no end to the list of things that I get told about my femininity xP

I just don't feel right to be a boy, and it's really hard to act like one at school as well. And most importantly, all of my family members are quite reluctant about all these gender stuffs and if any of my family members know that I like to wear makeups etc, they'd probably tie me up somewhere or something T ^T so I'm in a position where I can't tell anyone about my real self and it's been like this since when I was really small. I can't remember exactly when, though.

It sort of feels like being trapped in someone else's body...

I don't have any idea to how I should draw a conclusion to this, so I'll just finish this here xD I just thought I had to write something about myself since I'm new to this forum xD

Nice to meet you everyone :D

P.S. I don't know if I should upload my photo or not, I epic failed on my diet T   ^T and worst of all, I was forced to get my hair cut T ^T T ^T T ^T

Oh, and I forgot to mention my name xP
My Korean name is Ji Soo, and my Japanese name is Sana Yuki :D

You can call me Ji Soo or Sana, either is fine :D

Welcome to our little family. Over 5100 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Nice to meet you Janet :D

Thanks for your reply, I feel more comfortable now :D

And hearing that I'm a family member now, it feels a bit weird but I think I'll love it here!

The COGIATI doesn't mean anything really.  Some of those questions are somewhat stereotypical.  I have taken it twice myself.  I scored 225 and 250.  An internet test cannot tell you who you are.  You can only do that yourself.

The person who put together the test says so herself.  If you read the letters section of that website, someone says that they only scored a 147 and wondered if they should go through transition or not.  She replied that it depends on how they feel.

Lumi

Yeah, I knew that, I was just saying :D
I remember the site mentioning something like "this test cannot be a replacement of therapist......" or something along that line xD

Welcome to the forums! I'm delighted to see you here and not somewhere else; Like dead on the road or something! Many people don't get the help they need but you stood up against the rain and your righteousness will pay off one day!

P.S., I love your overuse of emoticons! Haha! I do that a lot too! [=

Welcome!!!! =)

Keep in mind the COGIATI is not some "FOR SURE" thing but it does tend to weed us out from normal cisgender people sometimes. =)

Hi Sana,

I am also new to this forum, good to see you!

I have been wondering if I really need to be a girl for many years of my life, until recently I made up my mind an started to seek my real self.

I started hormone therapy only 6 days ago, but I have already discovered some subtle changes within my body. If you like, I'll have a lot of stories to tell!

Anyway, good to see you, and let's keep in touch!

Tiffy

Thanks everyone for welcoming me! >_<

And Yubel, thanks for saying that to me, it's really nice of you ^^
and yeah, I love using a lot of emoticons and I'm happy to hear that you like to use a lot of emoticons too >•<

And Jerica, I was pretty sure that the COGIATI thing was not a for-sure thing xD I think it's reasonably accurate for an online test though xD

lainyjain, thanks for welcoming me xD

And hey Tiffy, it's great to hear that firstly, I'm not the only new person here, and secondly, that you've made up your mind and started on your hormone therapy >_< I wish I was fortunate as you, but I believe that the day will come when I can search for my real self xD and it'll be great to hear your stories >_</ and yeah, let's keep in touch ^^

Hi Lumi,

Thanks for replying!

As I am also new here, it is really exciting for me to greet and welcome other newcomers!

Starting hormones is exciting, yet it really need a lot of courage to make up one's mind and finally go out to see a therapist!

By the way, are you a South Korean citizen? I suppose that you'll have to serve in the army for a couple of years, since you are genetically male... How will you solve this problem? (no offense, I'm simply curious about it)

Best,

Tiffy

Hey Tyler,

Do you happen to know that how can I send PMs to someone else in this forum? Or, are newcomers not allowed to use this function yet?

Best,

Tiffy

Ohh Jeez sweetie I have no clue, I just noticed that I can send PM's. So I guess you have to post a certain amount of times. :)

Hi Tyler, thanks for the welcome, I really really appreciate it ^^

And Tiffy, thanks for your reply and you seem like a very kind person ^^
Well, I was originally a South Korean citizen but luckily for me, I have a New Zealand citizenship, so I don't have to go to the army >_<
and yeah, I would expect that actually going to a therapist would require an enormous amount of courage ^^

The thing is that my family is really.... how should I say this.... un-supportive about all these transsexual stuffs T -T But oh well, I have my own plans ^_<

Hey, there, Lumi! Welcome home!

I could say a whole lot of things, but you'll find Susan's is packed with experienced people who aren't too squeemish to answer most of the questions might you have.  :D
Finding yourself is something you have to do for yourself, though. The only thing other people can do for you is offer suggestions, and support your own choices.
