Southern Baptist messengers meeting in Orlando, Florida have approved resolutions urging Congress not to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and to reject the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA).

The resolutions were approved Wednesday by over 11,000 messengers.

The DADT resolution states that being gay is "intrinsically disordered and sinful" and calls for the forgiveness of the sinner.

I was going to comment on this but it may take me all day so I won't comment on this until a later date. What this is is bogus nonsense.

Yeah it's a wicked sin, listed in one of the more minor books - but that whole major commandment deal of "thou shalt not kill" can be ignored so that people can play solider.

I could go on about this, too. I studied about the minor prophets in college. What the Sothern Baptists are professing is erroneous. It's something that I can refute.

Well you can go refute them, me, I'm just praying for the rapture to take them all away.

The SBU and their ilk are what we in the west have to endue. While other parts of the world deal with the likes of the Taliban.

Basically the same coin, but with a different tarnish.

Politically ambitiious people manipulating faith for their own ends.

They've made a considerable shift to the left if they want to keep DADT!!!   They used to opt for "make 'em tell" and then whip them out!!! 

I'd personally go for a rupture in the Circle Of Willets (critical blood vessel in the brain), but an inguinal rupture would be acceptable to take their minds away from serious Bible reading.
