Hello Everyone :)

I'm Having a Problem With my Voice.
Some Days I Have a very Natural and Fem Voices.
Other Days it sounds Fake or Forced. Like a Boy Pretending to Be a Girl.
and other Days I Find it very Difficult to even get it to sound fake feminine...
I also find that when talking to certain people, I have no control.
Like I am Uncomfortable and forget how to control my voice...

Maybe I'm over thinking the but it really is frustrating and exhausting that I can't maintain it.

Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on Vocal Control?

Wow, I thought I was just going through an odd patch, but it sounds like we're having the same problem. I don't know about you, but I don't even find it's a conscious thing. I don't practice voices like I should, but I find it naturally drifts upwards when I'm in comfortable company and I can feel like myself. It can suddenly dip without my thinking about it though, and then sore throats creep in. I think it's just a small slip-up which is making me nervous, and that nervousness makes my voice all the shakier. The only solution I've found is shutting up for a bit, which isn't much fun. ;P

Oh Wow that's Exactly how i Feel.
I will catch myself slip and then it get worse because i am aware and too focused on what I'm Saying....
I really Don't Practice Either because when i sound Natural, i sound really natural.
but when i sound masculine its really masculine...... i hate it....

Time, practice and patients<sp?> This should go away after a while.

It could also be the technique your using...

I feel the same way. I'm new to practicing my voice, but it's really easy for me to get into a female voice, because I have a really good range, coming from years of me singing loudly lol. I always sing higher because i listen to female singers mainly so I've worked my range higher. Still I find a lot of trouble feeling comfortable talking up there and idk. I showed my bestie and she likes it, but she doesn't really think i need to change my voice but I know I do. It just takes time and practice I think.

For the first year of my transition I filled up my phone's voice recorder with "This is my voice" snippits.  It's hard at first, yes, but if you keep at the voice it eventually becomes an automatic and natural thing.  (Least, that was my experience!)

The best tip I received while learning my new voice was this: "Don't worry about sounding like a girl.  Just speak."  The sooner you stop thinking about your voice, the sooner it'll slide into the right register.

Hope this helps!

I join this club.  I suffer from the same problem with my voice.  I don't get to practice because there is usually someone nearby.

I left mine alone and talk naturally, but speak a lot quieter and the hormones have softened my voice, but some of the hottest sex pots in the world had those huskey voices that men thought were sexy. I have no problem passing!!!

I've been trying to remind myself that pitch doesn't necessary solely mean feminine,
and that husky is just as feminine.
I think i just need to study my voice more.
It's just irritating that this is the same problem I've had for quite some time now  :-\
