Recap for those who don't know the situation: I started out with a general counselor at my college campus, who referred me to another counselor who he felt would be familiar with my gender situation, who referred me to an actual gender specialist who she felt would have more resources for me, who I finally met up with last night...
...long story short, she is AMAZING!
Right off the bat, she asked all the right questions and made sure she understood my situation instead of just treating me like a generic client. She picked up that I like to draw and journal, so she gave me homework assignments based on that: Write about how I think my life would be if I was born male, and draw what gender I feel like each day for the next week.
And I'm meeting up with her again in a week.
I am really excited about all this!
