Do several versions, see which you like best. It'll take more time and who knows, you might like the later ones better.

Yeah, thumbnail sketches tend to be very useful even if you pick the first one.

Yup definitely still have some work to do. I tend to be one of those oddballs who first does sketches of everything seperate and then with an actual composition sketch do various sketches on the same piece of paper. Add some coloured markers to that to distinguish the lines I actually want to use and you got a pretty trippy assembly.
