Hi, I'm Kristina-

I am a mature cross dresser going thru some major changes in my life discovering i'm transgendered. I am glad to have found Susan's place and to be able to fit in with others who have shared my experience and feel wanted and cared about.

I'm a wildly creative individual, a photographer by trade, yet a simple soul. I have a passion for cooking and good food, love to curl up with a good book or listen to music. I love the arts & humanities, but most all i love to shop, for others, for myself, for any occasion. I live and work in NYC.

I hope to get to know you all and would love to hear from you-

hi Kristina,

transgendered souls are more creative and intellegent than the average non t/g so it isnt suprising that you are so creative Kristina. i'm semi-retired and just starting a new life in portland. i'm finding the more you can be yourself, the happier you become. being yourself is sometimes very difficult and there are setbacks at times but the prize of a real life even for just one moment is well worth it. it's great to have you here.

Wow, i am so touched by your welcome, i dont know what to say-

I have had two terrific days in a row, just being myself & making small self discoveries.
Your welcome just adds to my sense of well being & happiness.

Paula i promise to e mail you as soon as i can. I have a really busy schedule now thru labor day and just can't get onto the board as much as i'd like.

Thanks again everybody, you have no idea how much your acceptence into the tg community means to me. I look forward at getting to know each and everyone of you.

hi  gina_taylor,

QuoteHey Deb, what's the difference between a cross-dresser and a transvestite?

Nothing. CD and TV mean the same thing, just Cd sounds less clinical.

Hi Kristina,

Welcome to Susan's! I meant to say hi yesterday but got caught up in the day to day grind. Anyway we are here for you and always happy to offer lots of advice. So fix yourself a cup of tea or other relaxing beverage, sit down take your shoes off and set a spell. No requirement on the shoe thing if you'd rather not.

Good Journey,

Cassie

Hey Gina and Deb,

I have a friend in the Gay community in Sydney and he is friends with some "trannies" and if they anything to go by there is quite a difference.

Tranvestites down under are more Priscilla Queen of the Desert types very out there and heavy on the makeup. Where CD's seem to be more interested in blending in.

I martial at the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gra and you really see the difference there.

That's Shelleys view of the world anyway :).

And to think it was a beautiful white crynoline full slip i couldn't resist trying on at age 7 that opened this door and has led my down this winding road of self discovery.
