Hi guys, so I got my psyche letter giving me the approval to go for surgery which means I can get on the waiting list at Auckland DHB! (which means its done under the public health system and I don't need to pay) which is awesome cause I'm poor and has a huge student loan and 4k in overdrafts >_>

There is one catch... no nipple grafts.

Mind you, I'm not particularly concerned as my nipples don't have more sensation than the skin around it (in fact, I think its less o_O) and I've been told that reconstructed/tattooed nipples can look pretty damn good. So far the only pictures I've seen of the completed work has been the one guy on transbucket. Someone mentioned in another thread that 'theskyisdeeper' on youtube has had this done but his channel doesn't have any vids uploaded. I sent him a message asking about it but so far no reply.

(but it was only yesterday so I'm giving him time lol)

Further searches on youtube consist of wading through hundreds of vids that have 'nipple grafts' in the tags ignoring the fact I'm trying to find the ones 'without'.

So yeah, just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for decent photos? I've already seen the ones done for women but that's not what I'm looking for (lol obviously)

There use to be several more pics of guys with no nipple grafts on Transster (the predecessor of transbucket). Sadly a lot of content was lost when Transster went down and much of it hasn't been resubmitted to transbucket.

I had actually considered getting surgery with no nipple grafts as I really liked the results Megan Hassall in Australia produced (even though I don't live anywhere near Australia).

The good thing about no grafts means you don't need to worry about possible tissue death from lack of circulation (as is a worry with all grafts). You can also let things heal and see what your chest looks like before deciding where you'd like the nipples placed.

But a downside is that no matter how good the tattoo looks it still won't have the right texture and of course loss of sensation. Though that's a risk with getting grafts too but some guys have said the sensation in their nipples returned after the grafts had time to heal (this can take years).

As for pictures of results I don't know if a search for Megan Hassall on youtube or google might bring anything up but you may want to try. Like I said, the results I saw of her work were enough to make me consider going the no grafts route.

I chose not to have my nips reattached / grafted for personal reasons plus I knew eventually down the road I'd have my chest tattooed. I'm happy to talk with you about this and show you photos if you'd like
