Maby i have been living too sheltered.I had no idea these places existed.I was just surfing the net when i stumbled upon them.There is a gay campground in georgia.  where you can live the rest of your life,open year round,just need an rv, i guess.kind'a cool

A lot of the gay campgrounds I've found are pretty much for gay men and many are clothing optional.

I've seen some that are LGBT friendly but are also adult, no kids allowed.

I camp a lot with my kids, so if a campground isn't family friendly we don't go.

I would love to camp with other LGBT families, but I guess they hang out in the regular campgrounds as I do and aren't labeling themselves.  Maybe I should hang a rainbow flag on my RV.

P.S I should also say I've found a lot of campgrounds that, without stating it up front, are really hoping to cater to the 55+ motorhome crowd, if possible, but won't turn others away.  They just set their fees based on 2 adults (not even 2 people) and children are extra.  Most family campgrounds charged per family of 4 or 6 depending.  end rant

We've run into that problem at some of the festivals I work at that have on-site camping.  Without segregating kids/no-kids areas, we are at a loss as to what to do with the people who a) have kids and don't want to camp next to the all-night, non-stop, 3 day party zone, and those who b) really don't want to camp and party next to the rugrats and yard apes.

I think the same deal applies to gay camps, that tend not to be family friendly, and family-friendly areas that are not exactly gay open.
