A female impersonator who claims he was portrayed as a transvestite on Britain's Got Talent wants Simon Cowell and other producers of the UK-based reality show to pay up for defaming him.

Philip Grimmer made it to the semi-finals of the show with a tribute to Madonna. He says he was made a laughing stock by Cowell when he appeared on the show in December, 2009 and that producers made it appear to audiences that he is gay.

"I'm a female impersonator, that's what I put on my application.," Grimmer told The Sun. "It's my niche, I'm not gay or a transvestite."
"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." Oscar Wilde

Um... Ok.

If you go in front of a camera, for something that's expected to make national airtime during prime time with world wide web access, it's safe to say that all bets are off and what ever treatment you get on camera is your own darn fault just for showing up.

Robin Williams never sued anyone for the not so manly roles he ever did. If you are obviously male and walk onto stage dressed as a woman (Madonna of all people I mean come on) expect to get some not so friendly comments made about you.

Most of the comments under the article reads much like what I've said. This guy was looking for press action and I hope the only person that has to pay financial for this is Grimmer.

Can't say that I am a fan of reality telivision in general, but Cowell is rude and
obnoxious to everyone.
