Sorry, just had to share.  Used my new urethra for the first time today and all seemed to go very well.  Very happy.

Huge congrats.

I can well recall the wonderful feeling when I first needed to go, and realised that for the first time in my life there really WAS no practical alternative but sitting down.

It was a moment of pure ecstasy, and I imagine your first unassisted "stand" was absolutely no different.

Really pleased for you.

Oh, and don't forget to raise and lower the seat!   

Congrrats sneakersjay, I'm sue it was an exciting time for you.  I know it was for me when I had no option but to sit down.

Congrats Jay!  I totally hear where you are coming from, it's the details that matter.  I felt similar (in the opposite gender of course) when I became pretty much forced to sit to do that function.  And you know, after a year of doing it, I still get a smile across my face sometimes because everything is all right with the world now
