A WAXING and fingernail salon owner who was caught peeking into a women's toilet cubicle had gender identity issues in which he sometimes felt like a woman, a Brisbane court heard today.
Judge Michael Shanahan remarked Duy Hung Tran's gender disorder could explain what he was doing in the women's toilets but it did not explain Tran's voyeurism.

He noted that at the time Tran was on a probation order for a similar offence.

"Your Honor, it's not my fault! I have a mental disorder.  It's called Gender Identity Disorder.  You can look it up!"

Translation - I don't want to go to jail so I'll use any excuse I can to avoid it.  Even if it gives those TGs bad press.
When you judge others, you do not define them, you define yourself.
