I got this binder in the mail two days ago:

http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=127
And I love it.

I couldn't really tell you how good it is compared to other binders, since it's the first one I've ever had.  But it makes me flat and is a hell of a lot more comfortable than trying to bind without a binder.
I'm just happy, is all.

Congrats on your first binder. :)

How heavy/hot is it, and how hard is it to get into, out of curiosity?

And...hate to ask this but what is your cup size? Looking for one for myself..having a rough go

The material is about as heavy as a thick sports bra/activewear type top.  I don't think I could handle wearing it in over 80-degree weather.  It's pretty easy to get into; the left side is held together with velcro, you just put your arms through the holes then sort of wrap it around yourself.

My cup size is pretty small.  34A, according to their measurements I'm a 33.5, so I got a medium.

Was looking at the long one. I kinda like that cause unlike the binder I have now, it looks like a regular wife beater instead of some weird clothing option

Edit: Hey! They even have underwear on that site that has a little pocket thingy where you can place your packer!

Sorry...when I started, none of this stuff existed so it's exciting seeing things made just for FtM's...I get giddy *Runs to tell his girlfriend*

Edit again: SHOE LIFTS!

does it have some sort of "padding" in the front and if so, how thick is it?

haha, i got the blue boxerbriefs, but they're really not that good --- the "legs" are really short, so the packer may slip out the leg and also they look more like girls underwear (even though i'm really skinny-butted)
because of the cut, short legs that are sort of "rounded"

Wow those look spendy!!  I buy mine from underworks and I can get 3 for the price of one.

Congrats on getting your binder!!! I have felt so much better since I have gotten my binder.  My next step is a packer.

I am very large chested -- 38D -- and the underworks ones work well for me.  I especially like the black ones since they are double.  I get the long ones too b/c they also compress my fat stomach.

well 3x double front is ~ $ 85 plus shipping as i remember. unfortunately they don't work for me, but i know there are a lot of people who are happy with this binder:)

about love boat i would say you get three times the quality for twice the money though ........but then i'm also skinny as i can be and compression below the chest will only make me look like i have a girl's waist which i don't even  usually have ......the underworks binders don't fit me at all, cut in everywhere, the material is abrasive to my skin and the seams don't lay flat....

The love boat binders i got so far were all way more comfortable than any binder i had owned prior to that. they have cheap binders which are the same quality as the expensive ones on T-kingdom and not cut as low.
i was really disappointed by t-kingdom because the m1700 is the same thing as this one:
http://www.lesloveboat.com/shop/product_info.php?cPath=22_36&products_id=87
which actually works, whereas the t-kingdom one doesn't, because the compression part is tiny, and the velcro only about 2 inches wide, and it produces side-boobs and cleavage, all of which the one i linked doesn't.

and then the JUYA ones which are pricier but so comfortable i can wear mine at night even. I ordered the one sly! got now as well, can't wait to try it on.... the ESHA extra strength is quite comfortable and flattens me like the tritop, while only flattening me exactly where i need it and not digging into my rib cage.

What I liked about these is they can look like a wife beater. Rather than looking like you're wearing some medical thing under ya clothing. If it shows, people will think it's a wife beater, whereas the underworks, if it shows, it looks odd. I remember I was always trying to hide the damn thing when my shirts would slip or something. With this I wouldn't have to..Maybe it's the colour or the material, I dunno...just never felt comfy wearing the stark white, here I am type binders.
